Good Points: 1. Pocket sized and very portable
2. Value for money

5. 380 high resolution (4MP)still shots

9. Easy to Use
10. Built in speaker
11. 4.1 Megapixel resolution

Bad Points: 1. The camcorder is very light and compact so care must be given to avoid shaking or quick movements.
2. Only digital zoom
3. Excellent in daylight condition, but struggles in very poor light and night shots, although there is a night mode setting which does improve clarity
4. Need to utlilise PC to get best out of the package.
5. Entry level camcorder, ideal for amateur.

General comments: The Miyota MV-5000 camcorder is very compact and you can easily fit in to a pocket. Good overal design and is quick and easy to use. The 3.1 M CMOS sensor captures very clear and natural shots or footage, especially in daylight conditions. The Miyota will struggle with very fast action or poor light conditions, however this is not uncommon in much more expensive camcorders/ cameras. The still camera captures some very good shots, even on medium settings. Other functionality, MP3, Wem Cam is straight forward and of a good standard.
Taking it's multifuctionality, compact size, ease of use and value for money this is a good little performer.
