    Took our holiday to Hotel Lagoon in Corfu October 2009. They only gave us one toilet roll between 2 people for a week. Also only one teatowel in one week. Our apartment was supposed to be for 4/5 people but we only had one very small saucepan, one large stockpot and one small frypan. 2 cups and no bowls whatsoever which made mixing salad almost impossible. The bins were changed daily but the floor was not swept, I had to do it myself as the cleaner had the habit of leaving her mop bucket and brush outside my door.
    The apartment was great but I would have liked my basic needs catered for. i.e. sufficient toilet roll and the teatowel changed during the week as were the towels. I think Greek hospitality has a lot to learn.

    Me and my boyfriend arrived at the lagoon studios and apartments 11 September 2009, the weather was gorgeous. Our apartment was spaceous and clean with a lovley view of our pool, was slightly noisey at night cus we were right next to the bar. (Bar is open untill 4 am so this could be a problem for families with small children).

    Entertainment was good, they have something on everynight ie bingo, karoke, quiz nights. The staff were very nice! Always helpful and polite

    Food at the lagoon is nice ...

    Recommended for families and couples, our review is based on what to expect on a Greek Holiday and therefore the Lagoon is excellent and we were not disappointed, if you're expectations are wild then Greece may not be the place for you.

    Sidari Resort good for a sunshine break but given the strong euro against pound you have to look at what other options are available for the money, this was no cheap holiday.

    Although drinks can be expensive, the bar staff and reception are really nice and helpful, close to the beach and the main strip, perfect location, not enough fr the kids but other than that its a great holiday destination and hotel.

    I would never go again to the Lagoon Studios and Apartments. Very noisy music all night long, people jumping in pool at night. One night there was too long.

    I have stayed at the lagoon studios 2 years in a row now. The staff are excellent, very friendly and can never do enough for you!! The food has always been excellent and well priced. The pool is lovely and there is entertainment on every night. The maids can be slighty mardy!!! However, I would recommend the lagoon studios to everyone!

    Most staff were polite, I found the cleaners quite rude but the swimming pool was lovely. However no free air conditioning in June.

    The resort smell of sewage at certain times of the day, the mossies will eat you alive if you don't cake on the repellent (we went thru 2 cans in a week) beach okay has litter and dog mess in some parts....sorry to paint a bad picture I'm sure some parts of Corfu are nice. Don't let this resort put you off Greece as this doesn't reflect true Greek life at all.

    Arrival and departure from airport to resort and back again went without a hitch. Very smooth operation from First Choice.

    Arived at Lagoon Apartments at midnight local time on a Saturday to quiet resort and complex bar area (Change over day) Apartment was clean and spacious but very basic and tired looking. We stayed in what looked like the old part of the complex, a newer part had been added and may have been better equiped and furnished. Shocked to find that Air con was on hire at 7 EU/day ...
