Good Points: Well sized apartments with reasonable facilities. A nice quiet location off the beaten track. Well kept and clean. Plenty of sunbeds and a very clean pool area and well maintained pool. Nice friendly staff.

Bad Points: Expensive air con. We had one of the two units for five days and it was 50 euro. Not sure how much she charged for both. (She tried to charge us twice actually). Very expensive breakfasts (compared to town) 6.50 euro at Damia's to 3 in town. Safe deposit boxes in reception, you have to count your money in public and there is no room in them for larger items of value, IE, video etc. Power to the apartment is only on when you insert the key fob into a switch, this means when you are out you can't charge anything up etc, it also means that any plug-in insect repellors are off when you are out, seems minor but Mosquito's are a major issue in this resort. There is music on permanently at the pool side, this is nice in the main but a little bit of peace would have been nice on occasion (that might be my age showing) The owner seems to think she's royalty and gave me the impression she looked down on us. Most owner/managers give the impression they are friendly and care even if they are not sincere, the owner appeared could not be bothered. Not even a goodbye when we left. Her last words were, "have you paid for the air conditioning".

General comments: Enjoyed the holiday in general, the 20-25 minute walk into town did get a bit tedious and uncomfortable in the heat when your coming and going several times a day. Saying this, it's a nice walk down a country lane only spoilt by the amount of litter strewn along the side's of the lane and the odd fridge dumped. This seems common on Corfu. There is no footpath along the lane so care must be taken with the traffic, especially when dark. The apartments are nice, peaceful and in a very pleasant location with nice green views all around. There is a derelict building to the rear of the complex but even this has a charming rural dereliction. There is a small supermarket and a local shop within 50 metres of Damia's which are a godsend. A taxi from town is a straight 5 euro and we never had any trouble getting one. One last thing, Mosquito repellent, take bucket loads.

We arrived at Damia's Apartments at 5.30am 21st June 2008, and was shown to our apartment by Damia who was very polite and helpful.
I would definitely recommend staying a Damia's Apartments. We were welcomed and felt like part of the family. The swimming pool was amazing, we spent most of our 2 weeks around the swimming pool. Walking into Sidiari in the evening is recommended. Overall great family holiday and very relaxing.

A fantastic holiday as we stayed in the best apartments in Sidari! The pool was so lovely there was no need to go to the beach. A nice walk into the main part of the town. The owner and her family are lovely and will do anything for you. We will be going back....

On arrival- Our second named was called out, we (me and boyfriend) stepped forward and said that's us, we were given the key and told 'upstairs room 103, bye' and walked off. There was no communication from her, I expected her to ask how our journey was and say the obvious, 'welcome to my hotel' but no that was our welcome!

Late night music - First night there was a pool party, after our exhausting late night flight and spending the day walking through Sidari we wanted a early night to be refre ...

Overall we felt unwelcome from start to finish. This had the potential to be the worst holiday we've been on, but we made the most of it and due to the great people we met in Sidari town and the nice beaches, we had a good time. Anyone reading this review, the message is this: Go to Sidari but I would not recommend this apart hotel.

The Pool is fantastic. Plenty of space to sit around on sun loungers (For Free) and the pool is very very very clean. The Apartments were very clean, and spacious. Lovely views from the balcony, Only 25 minute walk to town or beach (Although our tour operator had said 90yds to beach) but getting a taxi is very easy (5 Euro's wherever you wanted to go). The staff were very helpful and friendly and made sure that everything was fine for us. The food in the hotel restaurant is fantastic, best meals ...

I was a bit nervous about going to Sidari at first as I thought it was going to be a bit boring. It was far from that, there is something to do for everyone, the food and drink is so cheap that you can get a three course meal for 6 Euros! It is a lively resort but there is something for everyone! I loved it!

The room was fine at Damia's ApartHotel but sheets only changed once a week and towels twice if you're lucky, shower curtains are covered in mould, don't forget your toilet rolls as none are provided even at day one

The owner of the Damia Aparthotel in Sidari was the nicest and most helpful person that you could ask for. Nothing was any trouble, and she made our stay very enjoyable.

We will be going back as soon as we can. It was a brilliant holiday. I would recommend it to any one, what ever the age. I have nothing bad to say about it at all. The staff are very friendly.

I have stayed at Damia's Aparthotel several times and would recommend it to everyone. It is new, clean, well serviced, probably the best accomodation in it's class in Sidari. The pool is surrounded by garden with a woodland view and is very relaxing. Damia has four boys of her own and really thinks of the children, as well as the kids pool there is a play park too. The hotel is a bit out of Sidari, but we enjoyed the walk and the taxi's aren't expensive. If you love lounging round the pool ...

Damia is the perfect host, her hotel is the best in Corfu. You are treated as family from the moment you walk through the door, to the moment she waves you goodbye.

The rooms are a good size and extremely clean. Two bedroom apartments have a kitchen area with everything you need to cook a meal.

Pool is clean and there is entertainment everyday if you want to get involved.

The Greek night is a must!!! Dancing, drinking, and great food add up to a very enjoyable night.

    If it's good foo ...

I stayed in a two bed apartment at Damia's ApartHotel which was clean, spacious and well equiped. We were the first people to stay in the room in May 2004. The pool was great with ample sunbeds and toys for the kids. Food was ace, a good range of international and traditional meals. Staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to help. For example on our last but one night, my wife broke her ankle after falling on the road home from town, due to the non-existent lighting and mad greek drivers, Da ...

We had heard from reviews that Damia was a wonderful host and made her guests feel very welcome and comfortable. This was something that had encouraged us to choose Damia's Hotel when making our booking.

We had a HUGE surprise when we stayed there! Although the facilities were excellent with a gorgeous pool, good-sized regularly cleaned rooms and a nice bar, myself and my boyfriend were utterly stunned and embarrassed at the rude, disgraceful and extremely UNPROFESSIONAL manner at which we ...

Damia's ApartHotel is an ideal family accommodation from which to base your self from. All members of the staff including the owners are more than accommodating and will take time to deal with your needs. Pool side and evening entertainment is available with the emphasis on holiday maker participation. The Hotel is new from May 2004 and offers typical Greek accommodation with the emphasis on quality.
There are plenty of sunbeds around the generous sized main and kids pool.
