For just over £1000 there aren't many projectors at the same level as the PTAE500. Picture quality is excellent, and the famous chicken wire effect is hardly visible on my 5ft screen from a distance of about 8-10ft, except when the screens one very bright colour, i.e. snow and ice!! Films look great with a balanced tone, and large range of light and dark. The noise although less than competitors is still noticeable if you listen for it, especially if the fans clips the casing like mine... (read more)

The Panasonic PTAE500 is a very good projector so long as nothing goes wrong!
They have had it almost as long as i have, latest thing they say is call back next week when we hope to have some better news. Still dont have my projector! (read more)

After 8 weeks they have sent me a replacement projector. Which I was very relieved to get. Would have been nice to have had a letter of appology though!
