The Ibis Hotel Republique is situated in Rhu Leon Jouhaux 100 yards from the Republique Metro station. The hotel is easy to find, you can't miss the red Ibis sign, and is well situated for getting around Paris. For the Price (at the lower end of the market) the hotel is clean, has friendly staff who speak English, a small bar and breakfast room that has 24 hour night porter coverage; early and late continental breakfast can be arranged. The Ibis Paris Republique is located near Place Republique in an old building. It is 1-minute walk from a metro station where many metro lines are crossed. Rooms are small but I've seen much smaller. All the rooms are clean with ensuite facilities, air-conditioning and TV. The staff was helpful and they spoke English, something quite uncommon in Paris. We didn't have breakfast so I can't express my opinion on this.
