Excellent buy still going strong. Handles well and very reliable. Better than a in terms of practicality than other cars I have had. Good economy, easy to drive, aircon still going very well. Better buy than my last Subaru in terms of virtually everything except 4 wheel drive. Well thought out vehicle.

Lovely to drive and being 6ft5 there is loads of room in the front and in the back with the seats all the way back. I've had my Ford Focus Estate for 5 yrs now and its def the best car ive ever owned everything about the car is great for a family with two kids.

Bought at one year old 8k and now 6 years old and 62k. Only just comes second to my Cavalier (one of the last produced) and 10 times better than the Citroen Xsara I was forced to have as my last company car!

The most reliable car I have ever owned. Compared with Renault Espace and Volvo 300 series [previous cars owned]I have saved probably £28,000 in parts and labour. Have just traded in for a Passat but only because I need a larger car for work. At 108,000 miles feel it is can still go for another 50,000 miles at least!

Joined the company I work for in August 2002 and due to their policy of moving vehicles around that had not completed their lease, I had a choice of a 2.6 V6 Mondeo Ghia Estate or aFord Focus Estate 2.0 Ghia. Well due to the tax laws in the UK and that the Focus has a lower CO2 emissions rating, (In other words less tax to pay!) I chose the Focus in Black.
The car had 34,000 on it when i picked it up. In March of this year when its lease finished (a 4 year lease) that had gone upto 82,000.
In all that time apart from a set of tyres, a set of wiper blades and of course the servicing, the car only once had to go in for repair. No mechanical or electrical failures during that time at all.......... Oh the repair, well that was a bit of bodywork, due to getting scraped by an identified helion with an Asda trolley in the car park!

How did you get Ford to make a contribution to tailgate rust?
