Good Points: Grind well dont relly wear down unless doing k grinds

Bad Points: king pin high and need new bushings after a while

General comments: The Venture Superlight 5.0a that im skating have lasted 6 months. i skate my box every day doing k grinds, five-o's smiths ect.... they are the best trucks i have ridden.. the kingpin is quite high tho. i got a pair of thunders for free brand new i did a 5050 to get them grinded and i got hoocked up from the kingpin and bashed my head. so i put my ventures back on. the trucks are good loose.

Venture Trucks are pretty good, they last an average amount of time and grind pretty well. The kingpin is not the lowest but it doesn't matter all that much. One bad thing is that the bolt on the kinpin creeps looser and looser until it falls off, this has caused me a couple of bad falls which irritated me a lot! Overall though, they are good trucks and they are cheap usually.Plus, i got mine for free which makes it even better!

Ventures Superlight 5.0 are tricky... i had super lights on my first board and they were pretty light. But i got another pare and they were SUPER HEAVY. If you are looking for light trucks get Tensors ohh and the P.J.s are the lightest of the Ventures

These trucks are terrible in my opinion. Me and my three friends all have ventures and we all regret it. Theyre probably the worst trucks ive ever had. The kingpin falls off because the nut somehow magically always gets loose to the point it falls off. Not only that but u cant even use a skate tool to put it on ur deck because it won'y fit cuz of the stupid shape of em. i dont reccomend them. theyre not strong and they suck. the only reason it got a 1 was because its something to put on your ska ...

When i was skatin, i ollied over a curb. The board hit the curb making me bail. Then my board was in premo so i tapped it with my toe and the truck broke........

Best trucks ever. They are very light and durable. There are no bad points. The venture superlight and great and I get a much better turn on them when they are loose. They have lasted me ages and didnt cost too much compared to other trucks.

My friend has ventures and so do i and he doesnt skate any big gaps yet and he only weighs around 150 and he ollied a three stair and broke the bushing. These trucks are a weird shape and hard to get on your board

these trucks are a complete waste of money, and are not as light as I thought they would be. I recommend thunder or phantom 2

The original ventures are pretty light and good. But now I have destructos, and they seem alright and slide well. However they seem a little bulky and big and my board is kind of heavy. I have the new plan b, is it because of the destructos?

I hate ventures, they're really heavy and the kingpin and axl sucks. I recommend some krux or some independent stage 9's

For the first couple months Venture Superlight 5.0 were great trucks, easy to get used to and grinded well. When I was on vacation my king pin broke while doing a kick flip. When I got home I thought I could change it in around 15 min, ended up being around 2 hours! After I finaly changed the king pin the trucks were okay again until the axels started to slip. I would skate and alwas have to hit the axel to even it out. After being frustrated with that my other king pin breaks in the same s ...

Venture are poor in general. I broke 4 in the last 3 weeks doing simple warm up tricks and no I'm not a heavy person if you skate loose trucks I recomend Venture. But not for tight skaters, I recommend Phantom 2 they stay tight and they're lite and have a low profile and really cheap.

The Venture Superlight 5.0 trucks are great and have worked well with me. When they say superlite, they ARE right. I guess it takes a personal preference with them but I've had no problem and I`ve had 2 or 3 pairs of them. The kingpins, yes, they snap when extreme weight is put on them. If you weigh anything close to 160-200, buy independant nice real sturdy. Not anywhere near as light as venture. As i said before they are made for light people. I dont weigh much so they really are perfect to me ...

Venture Superlight 5.0 really aren't bad trucks, but i have had a lot of problems with breaking kingpins on them, and they have the kingpins that they shoot in so it takes a lot of work to do something about it but decent trucks.

Venture Superlight 5.0 suck!, they break easily and are very expensive. I would recommend independent stage 9s.
