The staff at the Manpower london branch is very rude, I went there for a recent interview, when I was asked to take a seat of which i obliged. The consultant proceeded to ask me two questions, such as, how long have I been working in the Uk, what jobs am i looking for? I told her however, she doid not allow me to finish my questions because of the constant interruptions. at one point she told me if I register here there will be substantial checking of my status in the country, insinuating that I might be illiegal in the country. anyway, due to my professional standing I ignored her attempt to overshadow me with her negativity which might have worked against me signing on with the agency.more to be said, not enough space...

Manpower of Australia in Sydney seems to have a fairly large staffing. The offices are nice and the staff will offer to make you comfortable. However, in terms of job placement they are fairly lousy. Especially the dental nursing recruiting department. The gal that worked with me to try to find work was a bit self absorbed and abrasive. The number of jobs in their database has also been quite weak compared to the heaps of positions at firms such as Adeeco and Hay's. Manpower of Australia used to ...

Manpower is really rubbish, specially when it comes to contract of employment there are so many loop holes where they can twist things to their way. e.g holidays recently they took holidays from us without any good reason what so ever. The contract of employment just says you will be told what holidays you get. nothing is clear and they tend to breach contracts.
i would not recommend manpower to anyone as ive been having problems for 5 years on the cable and wireless contract.

I am writing this review in reference to their Canadian franchise operations.

This company is quite flaky and very unreliable. Dishonest at best. A few examples is that they will offer someone a job and retract it based upon no articulated reason to the candidate.

Another key point that everyone should know about this company, they have "desk fees" which means that the longer they have someone in their system looking for a position, the recruiters lose a % of the comission. This means that th ...

I've recently replied to a job advert for a Medical Secretary that was posted by Manpower recruitment agency. I was interviewed and later offered the position. During my interview, the Manpower consultant told me my pay would be £9 per hour. Two weeks into my assignment I'd realised I was being paid £6.50 instead! After contacting Manpower, I was informed that my job was not for a secretary but for an administrator, and therefore they could not pay me more. They did admit it was thei ...
