The GeForce 4 MX 420 might have been a good graphics card 2 years ago, but now that I have had a chance to compare it to modern cards (such as the ATI Radeon 9600 and GeForce FX series) it's lack of capability is very obvious. The most obvious problem is it's inability to create reflective surfaces in 3D environments. The only real use for this card would be on a system that couldn't take anything more advanced.
