The staff at the Hylatio Tourist Village in general were amazing, kind and helpful. It was a lovely resort and it was a really enjoyable holiday. The restaurants inside and outside in the pool bar eating area where nice. I would love to go back there. The only thing that let it down was the sun beds, as many people didn't have anywhere to sit and relax, other than that, it was an amazing holiday. (read more)

The welcome from the owners at Hylatio Tourist Village in Pissouri was so friendly and warm, that it felt like we were at our second home. This was our sixth visit to Hylatio, so we were relaxed and in holiday mode as soon as we stepped off the minibus.

We usually spend all day relaxing around the pool, and then toddle down to the village for a meal in the evening. But this year we were pleased to see that the owners had built the restaurant 'Ammos'. We enjoyed the food very much, and even... (read more)

we first went there 6 years ago with our 2 year old, and everyone was so friendly. We met couples that go back year after year. And at the end of the fortnight, we decided we didn't want to go anywhere else again. So we go back at the same time every year and meet our friends. The owner of the Hylatio Tourist Village in Pissouri is a lovely, helpful man, and he makes a huge fuss of my children. I can't recommend it enough. Hylatio Tourist Village is an excellent hotel, in a wonderful resort for older people. No good to kids as there is nothing for them to do. An excellent choice of restaurants, both in the resort of Pissouri and in the stunning village at the top of the hill. Long may it stay this way. (read more)

We booked this as a last minute holiday after searching the internet for deals, and then looking at the Hylatio Tourist Village web site, and the Review Centre for reviews of the complex. The descriptions on both sites were accurate, and we weren't disappointed with our holiday in Pissouri.

The only thing which confused me was the description of the owner as great fun and a welcoming host. He didn't speak to us once, even though we visited the bar nearly every evening in the two weeks we... (read more)

Pissouri bay is small and quiet, with about ten restaurants, all of a good standard and very friendly. One bar was very quiet when we were there. There are 3 shops (quiet expensive). Pissouri town has a few restaurants, and the 3 bars in the centre are also of a good standard. There are a few supermarkets (cheaper).

In our opinion it is a nice, quiet relaxing bay and village, but there are better beaches a few minutes drive away from the Hylatio Village, so a car is a must, but be warned... (read more)

We arrived and wondered what we had done. There are some unfinished buildings at the front. We were greeted by owner and given a drink.

The pool and studios look great, and they are, but I caught an ear infection from the pool, and so did others. The studios are kept really well, and the maid comes in nearly every day.

One thing I would moan about is that the steps into the village are not finished, and they can be quite a dangerous tripping hazard. I can't understand why they are... (read more)

We were given a huge welcome on arrival by the owner at the Hylatio Tourist Village in Pissouri, but thereafter we were largely ignored, as he turned his attention to the bigger spenders.

The rooms are terribly hot, and the "air conditioning", for which you pay approx £3 a day, is in fact an air cooler which serves to fan only the top of the room. We booked it, but we cancelled after a couple of days as ours was broken anyway, but we were still billed at the end of our stay. When I... (read more)

We had a lovely relaxing holiday at the Hylatio Tourist Village in Pissouri. It was a peaceful place to unwind.

The accommodation was very good, and it was kept very clean by the hard working cleaners who tidied up after us.

The pool area was ace. There were not very many people in the pool, so we could splash around. The sunbeds were good, and they had umbrellas for the needed shade.

This was our third visit to Hylatio Tourist Village - 6-20th July - and once again we could find no fault at all. Vlad is as ever lots of fun and extremely welcoming and friendly. Adriana the barmaid, was quite shy but friendly too, as are all the staff there. There is no cleaner resort, the pool is gorgeous and the bar snacks are always freshly made and well presented. Also enjoyed the barbeque night with lovely kebabs cooked by Stan.

The owner is a great host and does all he can to make your at holiday Hylatio Tourist Village problem free, he is always there to help,from renting a car to recommending a good restuarant. The barmaid is lovely and friendly.The pool is spotlessly clean as is the rest of the complex, we had a 1 bedroom apartment which was more than big enough for 2 adults, 2 girls (aged 8 and 10) and a 14 month old baby boy (and endless baby gear-pushchair etc..)the room was cleaned most days and towels... Hylatio Tourist Village - Could not ask for more & could not have been offered more. We decided while we were there that we would return but so far just cannot get booked. Perhaps I should be saying the place is a tip, full of cockroaches, lizards and bats and 2nd only to Fawlty Towers in service then perhaps I could get booked in.

Do book a car though as it's a long way to anywhere which is probably why it appeals. I had a maisonette but viewed apartments & studios & will happily go back to...

I have just arrived back from my first holiday in Cyprus at the Hylatio tourist village; I must say I was impressed by the space in the apartments and the cleanliness of the entire resort. Pool is brilliant, an excellent way to escape the heat. All the staff were helpful and would do anything for you. I requested a cot for my little girl the second night we were there and within 5 minutes it had arrived. Brilliant.

Three of us spent two weeks in self-catering accommodation at Hylatio Tourist Village in late August 2004, booked through Olympic Holidays' excellent website. The name may conjure up a large complex with shops etcetera, but this is a small development, with swimming pool and bar as the main focus, some swings for the children, and a tennis court at one extremity of the site.

Can highly recommend the Hylatio Tourist Village. The apartments are spotless, the grounds and pool immaculate. Really peaceful but still fun around the bar with Vlad in the evenings. He is a fantastic host and will make your holiday really special. Going again this year but for 2 weeks. The resort is lovely and Vlad would recommend a different restaurant every evening and even call them to say my friends are coming look after them !! And everyone did !!. You wont be disappointed. Yet another wonderful holiday at Hylatio Tourist Village - this was our third visit. The apartments are spotlessly clean, the food excellent and Vlad, the owner was his usual entertaining and friendly self.
This year unfortunately our son was quite ill but Vlad and his lovely wife Maria were fantastic - they helped us arrange transport, doctors appointments & generally took us under their wings - all above and beyond the call of duty!
Will we be going a fourth time? You bet we will!
