Good Points: Maid Service and Cleanliness was good.Flights to and from with EuroCypria were on time and no hassle.Pissouri is lovely though the beach althogh Blue Flagged is uncomfortable underfoot [Pebbles] The rep [

Bad Points: Worst of all the beds, maybe with a good nights sleep the other irritations would be forgotten.
The owners attitude should reflect that we are paying customers and not an irritation to him.

General comments: We have just returned from Cyprus and the Hylatio and in all honesty cannot recommend the experience,The management must seriously invest in better beds which are extremely hard and very uncomfortable, neither of us had a good nights sleep throughout the "holiday".
There were a couple of staff rsignations during our stay which they attributed to his man-management [or lack of ] skills. The air conditioning is very expensive and must surely pay for all the electricity as well. The food is expensive and of below average quality, certainly not Normal Cyprus Standards. There is nothing in the way of entertainment unless you include the one "Greek Night" a week, again expensive and overvalued, there are better free performances in the village with better quality food.Other than the pool there is nothing for children. If you stay in ,in the evening the one option is sitting round the bar, which many do,and if you have a pool facing accommodation this could further add to your sleeplessness. The minimarket is expensive and that allied to the current exchange rate £/Euro makes this an overall disappointing experience.

We stayed in a maisonette which was basically furnished but just about adequate for S.C, we were lucky enough to have a bit of a sea view. The maid service was excellent and the rooms were always spick and span on our return. We like to travel out even though this is our 8th visit to Cyprus..and our last ...more of which later, so we didn't use the pool/bar but there were always plenty of people who did. We stayed at the sister hotel last year, the Kotzias, and came up here to use the resturant wh ...

My wife and I have just spent a week here, it is in a very quiet spot, went with the Olympic company who look after you well, don't rent a car off the reps as you can one cheaper locally ,try next door to the diving centre. Easy access to Pathos and Limmassol, must go to Omados village in the Troodos mountains, brilliant! Beach isn't too bad and if you fancy a meal go to Lanaskis as you've probably read its very good. If you want to try the walk up to the village don't be put off we did it! and ...

Just arrived back from the Hylatio and on the whole it has been a superb two week stay, The previous comment re the owner giving attention to "favourites" is valid, he makes a fuss of people who sit round his bar and spend. In the bay itself we tried all the restaurants and they all came up scratch. Yes the Limanaki was slick and modern food was superb although it felt like they were trying to maximise it's popularity by putting to many tables inside giving it a crowded feel. During day at the f ...

We had a very relaxing break at the Hylatio Tourist Village, the staff were all friendly and fun. The short walk the beach was splendid and we were able to enjoy the part sand part shingle beach and lap up the ocean waves. Even the floating waste while we swam didn't deter us!
The selection of restaurants is just right. We liked Perry's and the Captain's Bay, though Kastro should be avoided. We had to wait 45 minutes for the bill and were ignored by the staff despite being the only customers th ...

Hylatio Tourist village is the best place I have stayed when SC in Cyprus. I find the Complex Very Very Very clean, rooms excellent and staff are very friendly and most helpful. They do an excellent job and if you want a quiet place Hylatio Tourist Village In Pissouri is 5***** in my eye's.
I can't wait for my next visit on 01/10/2008 for 14nts of bliss and peaceful nights. ( But I did get a hire car as it's needed to explore more of Cyprus). You can also hire a car from the complex.
    I LOVE HYLA ...

We have just returned from a two week holiday at the Hylatio resort and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The resort far exceeded my expectations and is excellent for the price we paid. It is clean and modern and the maizonette we stayed in had everything we needed for a self-catering holiday.

The pool is large and clean with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas for people to use. We didn't find the staff particularly friendly, especially the owner who seemed to make a fuss of his favourites and ignore ...

I went in June 07 and going back again in two weeks, can't wait. I have never came back from a holiday feeling so refreshed and relaxed. If you're looking for an idyllic holiday give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

The whole holiday at the Hylatio Tourist Village was fantastic, The resort of Pisouri is great if you just want a week to chill out. There isnt much to do and its a better holiday if you dont have children as there isnt much for them to do. There are some good restaurants in the area, the best in our opinion was Limanaki, the food and service were superb.
We booked this holiday very last minute, and weren't disappointed.

The staff at the Hylatio Tourist Village in general were amazing, kind and helpful. It was a lovely resort and it was a really enjoyable holiday. The restaurants inside and outside in the pool bar eating area where nice. I would love to go back there. The only thing that let it down was the sun beds, as many people didn't have anywhere to sit and relax, other than that, it was an amazing holiday.

Booked this holiday on the spur of the moment and didn't know what to expect. Was very pleasantly surprised. Will recommend to friends and family, we shall return ourselves. Would also like to say that our rep from Olympia was very helpful and; provided an excellent service.

The welcome from the owners at Hylatio Tourist Village in Pissouri was so friendly and warm, that it felt like we were at our second home. This was our sixth visit to Hylatio, so we were relaxed and in holiday mode as soon as we stepped off the minibus.

We usually spend all day relaxing around the pool, and then toddle down to the village for a meal in the evening. But this year we were pleased to see that the owners had built the restaurant 'Ammos'. We enjoyed the food very much, and even ou ...

we first went there 6 years ago with our 2 year old, and everyone was so friendly. We met couples that go back year after year. And at the end of the fortnight, we decided we didn't want to go anywhere else again. So we go back at the same time every year and meet our friends. The owner of the Hylatio Tourist Village in Pissouri is a lovely, helpful man, and he makes a huge fuss of my children. My son caught an ear infection while we were there, and the rep was very helpful and got us in to see ...

I can't recommend it enough. Hylatio Tourist Village is an excellent hotel, in a wonderful resort for older people. No good to kids as there is nothing for them to do. An excellent choice of restaurants, both in the resort of Pissouri and in the stunning village at the top of the hill. Long may it stay this way.

We booked this as a last minute holiday after searching the internet for deals, and then looking at the Hylatio Tourist Village web site, and the Review Centre for reviews of the complex. The descriptions on both sites were accurate, and we weren't disappointed with our holiday in Pissouri.

The only thing which confused me was the description of the owner as great fun and a welcoming host. He didn't speak to us once, even though we visited the bar nearly every evening in the two weeks we we ...

Pissouri bay is small and quiet, with about ten restaurants, all of a good standard and very friendly. One bar was very quiet when we were there. There are 3 shops (quiet expensive). Pissouri town has a few restaurants, and the 3 bars in the centre are also of a good standard. There are a few supermarkets (cheaper).

In our opinion it is a nice, quiet relaxing bay and village, but there are better beaches a few minutes drive away from the Hylatio Village, so a car is a must, but be warned there ...

We arrived and wondered what we had done. There are some unfinished buildings at the front. We were greeted by owner and given a drink.

The pool and studios look great, and they are, but I caught an ear infection from the pool, and so did others. The studios are kept really well, and the maid comes in nearly every day.

One thing I would moan about is that the steps into the village are not finished, and they can be quite a dangerous tripping hazard. I can't understand why they are construc ...

We were given a huge welcome on arrival by the owner at the Hylatio Tourist Village in Pissouri, but thereafter we were largely ignored, as he turned his attention to the bigger spenders.

The rooms are terribly hot, and the "air conditioning", for which you pay approx £3 a day, is in fact an air cooler which serves to fan only the top of the room. We booked it, but we cancelled after a couple of days as ours was broken anyway, but we were still billed at the end of our stay. When I ...

We had a lovely relaxing holiday at the Hylatio Tourist Village in Pissouri. It was a peaceful place to unwind.

The accommodation was very good, and it was kept very clean by the hard working cleaners who tidied up after us.

The pool area was ace. There were not very many people in the pool, so we could splash around. The sunbeds were good, and they had umbrellas for the needed shade.

The bar was open all day, selling refreshments such as drinks, ice creams and snacks, and all served w ...

This was our third visit to Hylatio Tourist Village - 6-20th July - and once again we could find no fault at all. Vlad is as ever lots of fun and extremely welcoming and friendly. Adriana the barmaid, was quite shy but friendly too, as are all the staff there. There is no cleaner resort, the pool is gorgeous and the bar snacks are always freshly made and well presented. Also enjoyed the barbeque night with lovely kebabs cooked by Stan.
Restaurants well worth a visit and just a walk away was ...
