Good Points: Well laid out, very quiet area car needed to get about, villa type layout, small rooms.

Bad Points: Staff very slow and reception can only handle one at a time. Food in main restaurant ok (just).

General comments: Did not eat in any evening as food on offer not to our liking and limited range. Pool at the Akamanthea Tourist Village looks nice and is kept very clean but, take care as tiles on stairs to indoor pool are dangerous with wet feet. Main pool has what looks like a step to get in but is half metre down and very slippery (on complaining told it was a seat not a step). Rooms ok but lack equipment overall site ok for a very quiet stay but 5 mins drive from sea.

We loved Akamanthea Tourist Village - the location was perfect, the view from our veranda was spectacular. I feel that the description on the web does not do it justice. We had an excellent holiday and it is definitely value for money. We are looking forward to going back next year.

Overall, our holiday to the Akamanthea Tourist Village was excellent. Our apartment was spacious and kept very clean. Compared to other Greek apartments, we thought the kitchen was well equipped. And having a shower curtain, well that is a first for us!! Even though the resort was only roughly 1.5k from Latchi and Polis, we found that walking in the Cypriot heat very distressing, and we hired a car for 10 days of our two week holiday. We found the basic car (there were only the two of us) ...

Very friendly staff. We have been to the Akamanthea Tourist Village hotel two years running now. Last year we were married in Cyprus, and whilst we stayed in the Anassa Hotel on our wedding night, on return to Akamanthea we had a bottle of champagne in our room, and flowers and rose petals arranged on our bed - very thoughtful. The food isn't perfect, but it is OK, and there is a lack of cooking facility's in the room. A very peaceful and beautiful location, and the pastel coloured buildin ...

Overall we had quite a nice holiday, the Akamanthea Tourist Village needs a small tweek in various places to give them ten stars. Staff need to be more professional in bar and food service, the village needs a top class manager to lead the way, it seems to trundle along with no-one to show the way, although we did not eat at the village, a number of people we talked to did not enjoy the food from the restaurant. Not enough facilities in the kitchen for self catering, i.e. no oven, one pan, four ...
