We have just returned from Jacaranda Villa, booked through Pissouri-villas.com. We would like others to know what we found.

Firstly, the third bedroom 'the annexe' is converted from one half of a detached double garage behind the house. It overlooks the parking area and is very gloomy. It would not be suitable for children.

Secondly, the bathrooms and kitchen were not clean. Examples are: cheese still on cheese grater; food in freezer (some six months past sell by date); toiletries (eg,antiperspirant, hair dye) left in bathrooms; dirty toilet rims; layer of grease on work surfaces. We spoke to the owner, Neil Smith, twice about this but he wasn't bothered and failed to turn up when we arranged to meet.

The description of this villa as luxury (with corresponding price tag) is way off the mark. We found it to be poorly maintained and tired looking. The location is good, though, but there is no sea view.

we stayed at the jacaranda villa, a short walk from pissouri village which has plenty of bars and places to eat to suit your buget.
the villa was excellant with a nice size pool, and situated in a nice quiet area of the village.
the owners were very friendly and helpful, only a phone call away if needed.
we would willingly recommend this to anyone.

This was our third consecutive visit to Pissouri, each time staying at Jacaranda villa with Pissouri-villas.com. The villa is spotlessly clean and perfectly located only a few minutes walk from the village square.
In our opinion you cannot find fault with Pissouri, my family absolutely adores the place, the village is tranquil, has superb taverns, restaurants & bars. The 'Cyprus night' in the village square on Wednesday nights - is an absolute MUST.
My family summed it up beautifully by saying: ...

Throughly enjoyed having a holiday and then living out there, hence why I'm going back to get married there and to enjoy the peace it has to offer. Everyone is very very friendly and I cannot fault the place at all.

Relaxing, enjoyable, friendly and not expensive. A village where you can relax, enjoy beautiful scenery, friendly village people, we have enjoyed excellent food in many of the local taverns including the Pissouri Square Tavern (inexpensive) through to the Bunch of Grapes which has a moderately priced menu. Accommodation is available in numerous villas of varying sizes, many with own pool. We have enjoyed 6 different summer holidays in this village.

I had been to Cyprus on business before and stayed in the Akrotiri area (Episkopi to be exact) and fell in love with Cyprus straight away. We then decided to go to Pissouri based on what we had seen of it online, and when we arrived, the photos didn't do the village justice. It was a picturesque square full of tavernas and a few bars, and a stall selling the most amazing fresh crepes!! There is a small mini mart and 3 little banks with ATM facility, and some ex pat bars, but not loud or tacky. P ...

Pissouri Village - Some friends recommended Pissouri to us, and we decided to give it a go as we had not been to that part of Cyprus before. We looked at various options for accommodation and in the end chose a private villa with a company called Durmast Travel. They were really helpful and had a good selection of properties in Pissouri (and elsewhere) and it ended up costing less than we thought it might.

Pissouri is a good destination for people who still want to feel as though they are in ...
