Good Points: Apartments were clean.clean bedding and towels 3 times a week.pool was well looked after and clean.a two star apartments at two star prices.if your expecting a five star hotel go to the Hilton.
Bad Points: A bit of building work.apparently they are moving to new accommodation after all this building is 25 years old.
General comments: Great and will be going again at some point

The only good thing to come out of this place is that we brough a place out in Cypus as it's a beautiful place highly recommend Pophas or Cypus itself. People will go out of their way to help you. Seeing is beliveing, trust me just go and see for yourself just make sure that you check out the place you are staying at. I like a cheap holiday and we paid about £1100 for this and that was just self catering - we never get my money again only in fligts

We would definitely go back, we were very warm the last week in May. I wouldn't really want to go to Cyprus in July or August with a small family, God knows what the heat would be like then.

On the whole we had a good holiday, but I wouldn't choose to stay at the accommodation again, as it is badly in need of updating. There was plenty to do in the local area, but we had to make our own entertainment, as there was only one nights entertainment at the Land of the Kings Hotel Apartments in Paphos. At the end of the day it's only 2 star accommodation, and I suppose you get what you pay for!!!

We had a good holiday overall. We would return to Paphos, but we won't stay at the Land of the Kings Hotel again, as we never use same place twice. Karlina restaurant was the best place to eat - good food, nice people and good value for money. The outback was good. Troodos is lovely, but cool. The tombs are really good, and across the road.

Friendly staff. Brilliant with my 3 children. The pool was clean and it was cleaned a few times during our stay. The maids visited our apartment every day. The linen was changed 3 times a week, beds made every day and the bins were emptied every day. For 2* apartments this was great service! Reception staff were very helpful and bent over backwards to assist us when required. The restaurant was a little expensive, but who wants to dine there every night? We went to the harbour and along the road ...

Found this review page today for Land of the Kings Hotel Apartments wish I had seen it before I went to this place. I would not go back or recommend it. We stayed before this at the Eleni apartments which were superb. Wish we had gone there again. I found the whole experience a waste of money and would never go back!

We were really disappointed with our 'apartment' at the Land of the Kings Hotel in Paphos, which was really just a basic hotel room. The sheets were stained and the whole place felt dirty. The maid made an occasional appearance (far too early in the morning), but in 10 days the only thing she did was empty the bin. We asked for a late check out and they said they couldn't tell us until the day we were checking out, and then when they agreed to it they wanted a further CYP£20! We paid the C ...

The location of the Land of The Kings Hotel Apartments in Paphos was very poor. The staff were unfriendly, and the apartments were very dated. There were cockroaches in our apartment when we arrived. There was also building work going on which started at 5am every morning.
I should have taken notice of the reviews before I went. I hated the place, and I couldn't wait to leave.

Booked for 35 nights only stayed 1 night under protest moved next day to other accommodation at a cost of £150cyp cancelation fee & £85cyp upgrade fee.plus £5cyp transfer fee. Land of the Kings Hotel Apartments is the lowest of lowest and not fit for human habitation.
If you want to hire TV £2cyp, Microwave £2cyp, Iron £1cyp, Hairdrier £1cyp each per day. In summer air conditioner is £3cyp per day.
I would not reccomend this place to a dog.

I would not recommend the Land of the Kings as first choice accomodation as for similar money there is other hotels in Paphos which are by far better, however we stayed here for a week in December as we are returning in 2006 for our wedding (we will however be staying in the prestige Elysium which can be seen from the Land of the Kings!), and we just wanted to check things out. I would say for a weeks holiday this is suitable but any longer could put you off. It is very close to O'Neills bar a ...

I returned this morning from a 2 week holiday at Land of The Kings Hotel in Paphos Cyprus, and I was glad to be coming home. I wasn't expecting a 5 star hotel, but the least they can do is tell the truth in the brochures. There was no air conditioning in the rooms as we were promised. Our room had poor lighting, stained furniture, and the bathroom window was held in with wet toilet paper!
The waiters at the Land of the Kings restaurant were brilliant, but the owners of the hotel and it's res ...

After reading all the reviews on websites for the Land of the Kings Hotel Apartments, we thought that it was going to be a very bad holiday but when we actually got there we found that it was fantastic. The room we had was average and quite basic but it was very large and had air conditioning. We had to pay a deposit on the remote for it and it was 3 Cyprus pounds a day.
The local beach was quite rocky but we found by far the best was coral beach which is a short bus ride away. The opposite way ...

1. No air conditioning! We hired a fan, but we had to wait on a list for one!
2. Dirty Furniture.
3. Dirty Floors.
4. Cleaning is poor, cleaner only came twice.
5. Cockroaches and large ants everywhere in the rooms.
6. Broken Fridge. Had to put a chair there to keep it shut.
7. Shower curtain kept falling down.
8. Not enough sunbeds round pool.
9. Unhelpful receptionist.

This was the worst accommodation that you could ever possibly book.
We arrived on the Sunday afternoon to find out that only 10 out of the 100+ apartments had air conditioning, when it was advertised as having it.
We pulled back our covers on the bed to find biscuit crumbs and hair. Obviously dirty sheets.
It took two of us for one of us to shower! Basically, we had to hold up the pipe, so that we could get the pitiful dribble of water to come out.
Fridge was disgusting, rusty, and ...

Land of the Kings Hotel Apartments was dirty, cold, and had ants in the kitchen cupboards. The mattresses on the beds were full of mould and stains Yes it was a cheap holiday, if I had taken my children I would have left after a day. I managed to stay 3 days then booked into a hotel near the harbour which was very clean and not freezing cold.

Just had a week at the Land of The Kings Hotel. It was excellent. Not a high quality hotel, but excellent for an economy holiday. The rooms are large and comfortable, furnished to MFI standard, air conditioning is available. Bath/shower room was excellent and spotlessly clean. Towels and linen changed every 2nd day. Good pool area, which also appears to be very clean. The restaurant was the best (try their kleftico or pork chops with pepper sauce), the food will not disappoint. And as has been s ...

Land of the king's apartment was one of the best apartments I've ever stayed in on a holiday. It was really close to lots of restaurants and gift shops and if you like going on holiday to drink booze and party you can walk to bar street in 10 minutes or jump in a taxi which takes right on it door step for £4. The facilities are basic but they are all you need on a holiday. The staff make you feel welcome and are happy to help. If you like a happy and pleasant time on holiday, visit land of ...
