    Our first time to Cyprus and we chose the Alexander The Great for our Honeymoon. Although a bit disappointed with the size of our room and the lack of coffee making facilties, the food and service more than made up for it. As repeatedly said, the sunbed allocation system was fab and we didn't have to worry about getting up early in the morning to secure a spot.

    We stayed Half Board and the food was absolutely fantastic, we had no complaints at all. There was so much choice and the quality was great. Least to say we had some early nights due to the fact that we overstuffed ourselves. The downside for my husband was his great dislike for cats in which there are a number straying under your dining table whether it be breakfast or dinner.

    Location fantastic in a quiet spot but great for the marina and local restaurants. We met several families that have returned year after year and we would definitely come to this hotel again!!

    Alexander The Great is an awesome hotel, the staff and facilities were excellent. You even get a little chocolate put on your pillow when you arrive back at night. Oh and you get complimentary drinks on your last night as well as a complimentary drink on arrival, plus a gift in the room when you arrive in your room.

    The hotel staff at Alexander The Great were ignorant with a couldn't care less attitude. Anyone who books this hotel for a holiday are in for some surprises. They couldn't pay me to go back to this hotel.

    I have stayed at Alexander The Great before back in 2000 - it got refurbished in 2003. Stayed in a superior room which we had to pay extra for to get a front facing sea view and it was well worth the extra money £27 extra a night.

    We love Cyprus - it is my favourite place to go - the people genuinely like you, the food is fantastic, it is clean and they drive on the left hand side.
