Good Points: The food was lovely, loads to choose from, pool menu was great not just a snack it was a meal, the staff were so friendly. Our rooms were cleaned everyday- poor maids I'm so untidy on hol, clean towels, not one bug was in my room and no one got bitten. We stayed round small pool witch was a little quieter, very easy to get one of us in and out of pool who is in a wheelchair. Entertainment was good, loved watching the kids dance, when the entertainments done it's not far to pop in to town to boogie.

Bad Points: Rooms could be a little more modern, hotel reception could be cooler and toilets aircon. Also we could see no disabled toilets.

Would come back to the Mayfair Hotel.

There is a very good bakery just around the corner from the Mayfair Hotel in Paphos, and also a large supermarket and bowling alley to the rear. And although the harbour is beautiful and full of bars and restaurants, the hotel is not in a very good location, as there were lots of Russians hanging around the street corners.

The hotel has a new cleaning manager, so it is a lot cleaner than previous reviews have stated. The breakfast is very good, but slightly samey, and the pools are cleaned r ...

The Mayfair Hotel in Paphos is a spacious hotel complex with 3 swimming pools. There is a choice of poolside and indoor bars, and the hotel is convenient for local supermarkets, bars and restaurants. The food was excellent, and there were so many dishes to choose from, including hot and cold buffets. Maybe there's been a change of chef since the last reviews were written! We ate at the hotel most evenings, as the restaurant is air-conditioned and smart, and it was great value for money.

After reading the reviews on the Mayfair Hotel we looked forward to this holiday with some trepidation. What a pleasant surprise!
The food in the pool bar was great, although we never ate in the restaurant.
The pool area was kept clean, but you do need to be up early if you want a sunbed!!
We walked to the harbour the first night which took about 30 mins as the roads were still being built but so much progress was made during our 2 weeks there, I expect next year the work will be finished. Gi ...

I had a great time again at the Mayfair hotel/apartments it met my expectations again. The reception staff were amazing and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Some parts of the hotel needed doing up (painting etc.) My view was over a residential area but it wasn't a bother as we spent a lot of our time out and about and even when we were sitting on our balcony the residents were amusing to watch and one man even played the sitar (great entertainment). The beds were comfortable and the room ...

If you're thinking of staying at the Mayfair think again, if you have already booked good luck. The area where the hotel was, was like the gazar strip. The hotel staff were friendly & helpful (reception) we had to move because our room smelt. We were not the only one's to move I know two other couples who did. Our balcony looked directly opposite residential flats. (great view) entertainment was awful for kids every night; we didn't stay around at night. Cooking barely existent & we were s/c. Th ...
