I am currently here with mu husband and 2 year old daughter, we read all the reviews before we came and was expecting it to be awful. Dont believe all you read. The food is warm but you can heat it up in a microwave, there is a lot of choice and plenty of places to snack during the day. The staff i do admit are friendly enough sometimes it depends on who you talk to.
The animation hall is fantastic and has entertainment on every night, our daughter loves it, the kids disco is good and...

i spent two weeks here the first week was really hot so it took our party of 11 minds off the rude staff and lack of evening entertainment its such a shame i spent the whole of the second week with salmonella i was so ill i had to be admitted to hospital twice to be put on a drip. its also a shame that the doctor was also part of the holiday park and wasnt competent enough to do the proper tests and told me i had wind!!!! clearly not as i left over a week ago and now being treated correctly.... I think Elenite is a fantastic place foe everyone. The food is not horrible it is actually quite nice. A few things are uncooked but most things are cooked properly. The staff are nice and friendly and serve you anything you want. The aquapark is good except the floor is a bit slippy so be careful. The entertainment at night by the animation team is excellent. they do a show on tuesday, wednesday and thursday and bingo. On friday they do a kids carnival where kids can dress up as a character... We went for 2 weeks leaving on the 12/07/10. On arrival the resort looked lovely and clean and very safe. The problems started when you went for something to eat. The food was uncooked and luke warm. My daughter got pork kebabs which were barely cooked. Then our party of 5 all came down with stomach pains and vomited. A scottish couple in the room next door had also been ill for 2 days. The rastaurant was crawling with flies. After this i refused to eat in the restaurant and had to buy... (read more)

what do people want from Holiday Village Villas, Elenite,i found it an excellent choice especially for family's its has a private beach for village guests there is a water park within the resort which you can use for free and the kids loved it.
there was ground staff every were every day cleaning many didn't speak English but tried to say hello, most of the other staff looked miserable but that didn't make a difference to my holiday.

Elenite, Holiday Village Villas is a great holiday - very different to our usual camping in France. Children thoroughly enjoyed it, entertainment available if wanted - not in your face! Food and drink all fine and alot of choice. Accom fab - kept very clean. Staff great - friendly and helpful. Water park is a must - although a shame you have to pay for the sunbeds. Weather fantastic. Didn't do any trips - quite expensive. All in all great relaxing break if you like your package holidays!! (read more)

Food was excellent, everything you could want, fresh fruit every meal, catering for so many nationalities it must be difficult, I really enjoyed the lovely pancakes cooked at breakfast. Also the lovely cakes and desserts provided both lunchtime and evening meal. The snacks provided during the day should ensure something for everybody. Although there may be some people who are hard to please. Lovely peaceful holiday we are planning to return next year. Good value for money. (read more)

A great holiday overall. I went away with my husband to relax and celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The accommodation was very basic but very clean and had everything you need such as air conditioning and a hair dryer. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from and the food was good in all of them. The main restaurant was busy but there was plenty of choice and the food was good. The beaches were very clean and plenty of life guards around all the time and plenty of water sports to... (read more)

We basically got what we paid for on this holiday. We could not fault the hotels, as they were superb. The beach was kept clean, the lifeguards took their duties seriously, and we never had a problem getting a sun-bed on the beach or at the pools. The staff were at all times attentive, and I have never seen such a clean hotel. Our accommodation was superb in every way, and we could not have asked for better service than that provided by the room-maids.
The food could have been better. But...

We recommend you book the restaurants (BBQ, Bulgarian and Sunshine) as you have to queue in the morning at 10am to book, but worth it as the food is fantastic!
Don't believe all the bad reviews, some people just have to moan about something!!
We would definitely go back another year.

Elenite was FANTASTIC!! Elenite Holiday Village Villas was everything and more that you could wish for. The food was OK. Always cooked (sometimes a little overcooked), but we found that there was always chips on the menu. The pool bar was very nice, but again lacked choice. The staff were very friendly, and there was never any pressure to tip everyone, which was a relief. The rooms were great and very spacious. The place was immaculate, and there was no dirt or grime.
Some of the other...

Everything about thisholiday was ideal, the value of the holiday was exceptional. I can't fault Elinite holiday village what so ever.
The Village Villas staff and everyone was very friendly, room service was fabulous, entertainment was fantastic, hotel very clean and not
a bug or insect in site. The food was catered for adults and children and there was a very good choice, very tasty and well presented. And as for the chef who kept all the children amused making his pancakes he was...

However, when we got there we were very happy with the resort, even our two teenage children!

Elenite Holiday Village Villas - We were very happy with our accommodation and got used to all the stairs by the end of the week. We enjoyed all our meals in the buffet restaurant and although we didn't get to use the al a carte restaurants, everyone we spoke to said how good they were. The beach was clean and safe with plenty of sunbeds for all. I understand that the Village is not suitable for young teens and twenty-somethings that want to down as many beers as possible in as short a time... (read more)

Elenite Holiday Village Villas - Overall opinion of my holiday I wouldn't go back to Elenite as there is nothing to do apart from sunbathe or to go on trips! Lacking in shops.
After 10 oclock it was a case of sitting in the reception area and have a drink or go to the Irish theme pub and pay for drinks which defeats being all inclusive.

Although, overall, the holiday was OK it could have been much better. Every part of the Elenite Holiday Village Villas was accessible by steps so OK if physically able. We went on a trip to Blue Mountains and up the Chair Lift which was lovely, though the highrise flats on the way were a depressing sight. Nessebar was a lovely place to visit and so was the village in the mountains which was original and very picturesque. Scenery was great - vineyards - mountains - lovely pine forests. ... (read more)

Holiday Village Villas:
The food was excellent and varied. The place was very clean although the public toilets were sometimes iffi! The food was mainly veg with pork, chicken and beef stew, picky kids would suffer although our 3yr old ate relatively well. We felt safe at all times even once we lost our child on the beach and was found in record time even though had wandered up to hotel pool. Never felt rushed. The snack bar on beach was great. The pools were great kids had an excellent...

I stayed at the Elenite Holiday Village Villas in June 2004. There was Lots of steps, not suitable for the elderly or pushchairs. Food was not up to standard and they didn't cater for children. Hygiene was disgusting in the restaurants. Birds were nesting in the ceiling above all the tables, bird droppings were frequently on the dining tables. Cleaning was taking place during meal times and not after the meals had finished. There were only two bars in which you could get alcoholic short... (read more)

I visited the same resort 1 month later and standards have greatly improved. Although the nesting birds are everywhere, I saw no bird dropping on tables; food was great and hot saw temp testing on a number of occasions. The all inclusive idea from Spain has not yet been developed in Bulgaria but there was availability all the time. I feel too ice cream could have been more wide avail but overall I thought I had a peaceful relaxing time. British people should stop expecting British holidays abroad. Bulgarians speak Bulgarian!!! Bulgarians cook Bulgarian food. You should go to Blackpool.

We visited his resort in sept o3 although the food was a bit iffi the staff were more than friendly and helpful at all times, the resort was clean and we did not encounter the birds at all in the eating area's. The entertainment was in german but they all left the main nightspot at 10 o'clock on the spot. The beach was manned by lifeguards at all times they even returned my purse which I left by accident on the beach and nothing was taken from it.
<br>At the time we went there were a lot of german tourists, which bulgaria caters for , over all we had a good time.

Thanks for posting a review - I am going here with my family in September and all the bad reviews are actually giving me nightmares!!! I am not really a package holiday person, but we thought the kids would have a ball. And so I am trying to keep my expectations lowered!
