When I used this product, the box had a bright red. Right after I dyed it I was freaking out cause it came out almost a purpley brown. The next day though it faded, and though it is a lot darker than the color on the box I like it. It covers evenly, doesnt do damage, and doesn't fade. It is also realy affordable. I recommend this if you are doing a simple color but avoid the reds if you are really picky. PS Oh yeah and it smells really awful when you are applying it, but I think that goes for… Read Full Review

I've dyed my hair plenty of times in the past, (all different colors, from pink, black, platinum, to red.) in every single shade possible. Loreal Feria is by far my favorite hair dye brand. I've tried all the different shades of red dyes (going from some shade of brown)and even though the color would come out looking goreous, it would sadly fade in less than two weeks. Even though this is probably from bleaching my hair so much, it still claims to have long lasting color.): but out of all the… Read Full Review

I really liked the result of my hair colour after dying my hair Feria "Plum Power". It looked like a nice and vibrant red with purple tones. Unfortunately the colour didn't last as long as i would of liked it too :( But then again i didn't use the whole of the dye because half a bottle covered my whole head and I didn't want it to turn too red. Now I wish I did. Before purchasing this product i would of liked to know what the actual colour result was, because I was mainly reading how it turned… Read Full Review

i think this hair dye is fantastic! i got the P37 Plum Power (2 for £10 at superdrug) and it worked fantastic on my hair! my original colour was a dark brown and after using the dye it has now turned the colour that Cheryl Cole has at the minute (red) it is fantastic! great value for money and i would certainly recommend it to everyone thinking about dyeing their hair a dark red. it was easy to apply, i used 1 bottle and have 14 inch hair and it's incredibly thick and there was even some left… Read Full Review

i don't know about you, but most reviews i've read are from the usa, i'm from the uk. and the product wasn't runny or overpowering. i liked it. but also, i'm quite wierd like that. i like the smell of ammonia :') i used the plum power shade on prelightened hair but still pretty dark and yeah, the lighter sections were brighter than the rest, but i thought it was pretty nice. it was like a black with a shade of red. i want to bleach my hair and dye it. but i'm too affraid that it'll turn out too… Read Full Review

colour comes out gorgeous! (i bleached my dark brown hair so my hair was blondie/ginger) and the colour is very rich and healthy looking, although i also dyed my hair extensions and my hair has faded so much! i dyed it less than 2 weeks ago and my hair is now a light red! hair and extensions now dont match so after less than two weeks i will have to dye my hair again! so i would not recommend this product unless like me your willing to dye your hair every 2 weeks as i love the colour and my… Read Full Review

Personally, I think that the L'oreal Feria hair colour worked really well as a first time colour on virgin hair. It stayed in well, and didn't bleed at all afterward. However, the third time I used the dye, it was summertime, and it tended to fade quite a bit in the sun.
I would recommend this brand for anyone who wants a simple to use, and easy to clean up kind of hair dye. It is also reliable to not mess up the colour, the colour on the box is the one you get in your hair, and nothing… Read Full Review

I used LOreal Feria #110 (starlet) and loved the color. I already had previously bleached hair (been bleaching for years) but could no longer afford the up-keep of going to a salon every 4-6 weeks. My sister uses this color and it looks wonderful on her so I tried it. I thought it was very easy to use. I didn't think the smell was to bad at all and it didnt' drip at all either. My natural hair color is a darker dirty blonde. My roots came out a brassy blonde color but the rest of my hair was a… Read Full Review

I have used Feria Starry Night (Black) a few times usually during a moment of sheer madness going from peroxide blonde to jet black. I find on my peroxide blonde ends it looks exactly as promised black with a bluey tinge. Everybody loves it. But, after 2-3 weeks max (and I only wash my hair once per week cos its very thick and dry), it washes out on my bleached ends....so looks greyish black.
Anyway I have now tried Plum Power and hoping that at least gets me through the Christmas holidays. It… Read Full Review

I've been using L'OREAL Feria for many years, never had any issues!
It's easy to apply (always use an old shirt/towel when dying my hair), not running, gives my boring brown a nice colour.
True, the colour fades in about 2 weeks, but anyway, in about 3-4 weeks I reapply again.
Like the selection of colours although it comes out a bit darker than it is on the box... Therefore I try to use a bit lighter one… Read Full Review

I have tried every brand that I could find in stores and L'Oreal Feria is the only one with the color I want that lasts a bit longer then the others. But lo' and behold, since I wash my hair every day the color fades faster then I'd hope it would. But like I said, the other brands I've tried, the color washes out after a week.
I have spoken with my hair stylist and she said that red hair dyes are typically the first to fade before any other color. So I doubt there's really a sure fix to that… Read Full Review

Money saving meant that I could no longer go to the hairdressers every few weeks to get my hair highlighted, so I used the L'oreal metallic silver blonde colour as a cheaper option. The dye is a bit runny but not too bad, just be sure to use cheap clothes and towels while applying. The colour is gorgeous, not exactly the same on the box as it was lighter than I was expecting but it actually turned out better. I've used this twice, and the first time I did not use a shampoo specifically designed… Read Full Review

I died my hair the other day with Loreal Feria in "plum power" and it looks great! very shiny and not at all dull, the only thing is that it has slightly faded but only a little and that it is a little bit messy to apply but the result is great, very silky. I would recommend highly for people who wish to achieve light and dark multi-tones in their haircolour!… Read Full Review

You get a very beautiful silver color with LOreal Feria. The beautiful silver colour fades away really quickly and after a few weeks your hair looks yellow. Beautifull colour but it doesn't last long such a shame… Read Full Review

I was left with shiny, gorgeous hair, after using Feria. The shade (I used #63 shimmering amber) was more red than I had expected, but I received so many compliments, I wasn't too disappointed. My natural shade is light brown with hints of auburn. This product left my hair a very light auburn, almost strawberry blonde, with copper highlights. It does begin to fade a bit after two weeks, but the even the color it faded to was beautiful, not brassy, and the difference was noticeable only to me… Read Full Review

When using Loreal Feria hair color on my non-color treated hair, I noticed that not only were the directions easy, and explained, but everything in this kit was made to make hair coloring easier. It only took 30 minutes to leave my hair vibrant and beautiful.
A warning though. To someone who wanted a natural look, don't look for it in a red color. I used Chocolate Cherry do lighten up, and create a reddish hue. It looks totally unnatural, but still looks very nice. I have received a lot of… Read Full Review
