i have been dying my hair since i was in junior highschool. first i used l'oreal preference and then when i got older, i switched to garnier. both of those products works great with my hair. garnier doesn't bleed or anything. but anyways, for my 19th birthday, i decided to dye the top half of my hair burgundy and the bottom half of my hair blonde. mind you, before i dyed it, my hair was already dyed blondish. i couldn't find a burgundy shade that i wanted from granier nutrisse so i decided to use l'oreal feria. the chemical smell was pretty strong but that was okay for me, i been through worse. i went to my salon and they dyed it for me like always. the colors came out beautiful especially the burgundy. i forgot what number the burgundy was but it's called "deep burgundy brown" and then i also used this blonde, i forgot. BUT THEN the color completely washed out after three shampoo washes. ALL OF THE BURGUNDY COLOR WASHED OUT COMPLETELY. now my hair is just a brown, ugh, totally not what i wanted. the blonde color stayed in though. maybe it's just that their dark colors doesn't work very well. i'm switching back to garnier or maybe nice n easy. i would not use feria in the future.

I just bought Loreal's Feria (shimmering formula)I did the allergy test and had no problem. I guess I should have been aware that this product contained some very strong chemicals when you are told not to keep the product, it might explode. After about 5 minutes, this product began to burn my scalp, cause my eyes to water and in general, didn't feel right. I immediately washed my hair and will never know how the color would look. This is much too potent for me and I will be back to Clairol N ...- Read Guest's review (149 words)

I had highlighted hair and over time the blonde turned orangish. So not to go and pay another $100 bucks I decided to try Feria. I read some mixed reviews online but decided to give it a try, color 82- Desert Flower (Medium Ash Blonde). It turned out amazing. Loved the shade and the highlights that it left on my hair. It did seem a little dry tho, but its blonde color it does affect your hair.- Read Guest's review (76 words)

Using Feria for over a year damaged my hair and gave me split ends. I loved the color, but it is not worth the damage. I have been using color by Robert Craig for over a year now and I can't believe how healthy my hair is! I would not use Feria again.- Read Guest's review (53 words)

The colour came out great, I used the medium ash blonde and the colour is actually nicer than the one on the box. The only down side is that it has completely dried out my hair. Like breaking off dry, and no matter how many major deep conditioners I use, it is still so dry and broken looking.- Read Guest's review (58 words)

Personally, I think that the L'oreal Feria hair colour worked really well as a first time colour on virgin hair. It stayed in well, and didn't bleed at all afterward. However, the third time I used the dye, it was summertime, and it tended to fade quite a bit in the sun.
I would recommend this brand for anyone who wants a simple to use, and easy to clean up kind of hair dye. It is also reliable to not mess up the colour, the colour on the box is the one you get in your hair, and nothing differ ...- Read Guest's review (107 words)

Having hair I previously thought was undyeable as it never took hair dyes I'd tried before, I was elated when LOreal Feria Plum Power (which sometimes seems hard to find for some reason) worked on my hair. I love this colour - I get loads of compliments on it and my hair is shiny and reflects the light. Sure, it fades after a while - but by that time I have to redo it anyway because my roots are showing!- Read Guest's review (80 words)

I used LOreal Feria #110 (starlet) and loved the color. I already had previously bleached hair (been bleaching for years) but could no longer afford the up-keep of going to a salon every 4-6 weeks. My sister uses this color and it looks wonderful on her so I tried it. I thought it was very easy to use. I didn't think the smell was to bad at all and it didnt' drip at all either. My natural hair color is a darker dirty blonde. My roots came out a brassy blonde color but the rest of my hair was a b ...- Read Guest's review (203 words)

I used a red colour by LOreal Feria that stayed on for a long time, at first it looked really purple but it went to the red it was supposed to be after and stayed that way, I consider that good.- Read Guest's review (69 words)

One bottle of LOreal Feria does all my hair and it's about 3 inches above my waist. New formula washes out in a week, I used to use chocolate cherry and using the new one didn't even come close to previous results. Waited 3 weeks and used the Midnight ruby, not the greatest but looks better. Sure in a week it will wash out too, will then start using a salon to get my hair colored. Overpriced for cheap product, better off to pay the salon so you only need to do it once and not $12 a box for the ...- Read Guest's review (110 words)

Nice glossy and realistic color, and your hair remains soft.
I think this is a good color if you have reddish hair and want to go black with natural tones. It has great depth.- Read MarcL's review (41 words)

I have been using Feria Bronze Shimmer for almost 2 years now. I used to LOVE it - my hair would come out so shiny and look so healthy after dying. However, they have changed their conditioner and it is the most awful thing I have ever used. It's like putting toothpaste on my hair. The past few times I have used the new formula my hair has been left dull and dry looking. I had an old tube of the conditioner that I tried today and my hair had a bit of shine come back to it. I'm rating it a ...- Read Guest's review (112 words and 1 comment)

This is my second review of L'Oreal FERIA Multi-Toned Color. As in my first review, the product is a creamy gel with a very nice fragrance. It spreads very easily and quickly through the hair and gives the most TRANSLUCENT, IRIDESCENT, and MULTI-HIGHLIGHTED COLOR I've ever seen. This New Formula is even MORE CONDITIONING than the previous one. With the improved conditioning, the hair is left SILKY And SMOOTH right after rinsing the color, before the After-Color Conditioner is even applied. And t ...- Read beautybear's review (203 words)

I have used Feria Starry Night (Black) a few times usually during a moment of sheer madness going from peroxide blonde to jet black. I find on my peroxide blonde ends it looks exactly as promised black with a bluey tinge. Everybody loves it. But, after 2-3 weeks max (and I only wash my hair once per week cos its very thick and dry), it washes out on my bleached ends....so looks greyish black.
Anyway I have now tried Plum Power and hoping that at least gets me through the Christmas holidays. It ...- Read daisyduke's review (129 words)

i used the L'Oreal Feria 'bright black' # 21 starry night for the first time about a week ago. i couldnt be less impressed. i had heard so many good things about this product, abut when i put it on my hair the result was horrible. before i dyed it, i had dyed black hair with blonde patches. i did an all over dye job and when i dried my hair the places that were blonde were now blue and ruined. i thought that if i re-dyed the blue parts they would go more black. that was the case...for about 2 da ...- Read Guest's review (163 words and 2 comments)

I have used Loreal Feria for the past 10 years and have nothing but PRAISE for this product! Now in my 50's I've seen my hair change its' receptivity to dying...but I've adjusted to this little bugaboo by experimenting with several different shades of reds and blondes of Feria. I even mix the two for my own unique colors.
My main color for the majority of the years has been #94 Light Reddish Blonde.
My hair is now 55% silver and I still love the color on my hair. The grey 'takes' the color d ...- Read deenamarie53's review (199 words)
