Hello, i have the lightest brown hair, almost blonde. (I'm technically a level 8) Now, my hair was colored from level 7 to level eight. But it's so close i figured coloring over wouldn't be a problem. I used palest natural blonde 100. I left it in for a half hour. It didn't do anything but make my hair slightly more red! not blonder at all. I would definitely not recommend to anyone! (read more)

When I used this product, the box had a bright red. Right after I dyed it I was freaking out cause it came out almost a purpley brown. The next day though it faded, and though it is a lot darker than the color on the box I like it. It covers evenly, doesnt do damage, and doesn't fade. It is also realy affordable. I recommend this if you are doing a simple color but avoid the reds if you are really picky. PS Oh yeah and it smells really awful when you are applying it, but I think that goes... (read more)

I have been dying my hair for the better part of 20 years and have been doing it red by myself for more than a decade now. As anyone out there who dyes their hair red knows, red fades. I had found a dye that worked well for me but had always wondered that if some of the newer formulas would last longer than the 3-4 weeks I was getting out of my present brand. So when the Feria went on sale, (still more than double my normal sale price for the brand I had been using), I decided to give it... (read more)

I have naturally extremely dark hair and to cover up a few streaks of blue that I had in my hair, I decided to just use a bottle of the natural soft black by L'oreal Paris hair color (M33). I followed the directions exactly and when I washed my hair out 25 minutes later it had bleached my roots to a very light brown! and the blue was still visible! I would not recommend this product to anyone. Unless you want roots that are lighter than the length of your hair do NOT buy this product!! (read more)

I purchased the Feria Midnight Violet and the color was completely wrong! It came out bright pinkish/burgandy.. I washed it several times for it to fade a little and it is definatly a burgandy color, not anything like the image on the bottle that looked mostly black with dark purple (not burgandy) highlights. I am extremely unhappy and now have to think about dying it back to a dark brown. Very unsatisfied and would never do this again... (read more)

This is the third time I've used this hair dye & each time I think it's come out terrible. I have dark brown hair, so I didn't expect them to come up amazing, but the first one I used was Plum Power & it did show up, but ONLY in the light which is not what I'd expect of a hair dye, second time I used Red Hot Chilli expecting it to come out more red, but if anything it didn't show up at all! Now the third time, I stripped all my hai colour out. It left it a light brown colour & I decided to... (read more)

I used purple and the color is not even close to what's supposed to look like considering my previous hair color. You can't even tell what it was supposed to look like. It looks red-ish, not even a bright red, just faded out red. Also my hair feels dry and my head itches. (read more)

Initially, I loved this product. My hair was a GORGEOUS shade and I was so impressed. However, everytime I washed my hair it would fade horribly. I don't wash my hair everyday and my color barely lasted a week. The only other hair coloring brand I have used is Clairol and I would most definitely recommend that brand over this one. (read more)

I have been using l'oreal feria pure intense red for some time now and twice I have ended up with ginger hair and the last time I bought one they didn't place a colour boost in the box. It has damaged the ends of my hair as they are all dry now and have to dye my hair every 2 week using this hair dye. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody! For the past two years I have been dying my hair with Loreal Feria Ruby Power. I have always been extremely happy with the results, the colour turned out gorgeous each and every time. It gave my hair an amazing shine and I found it to last pretty long until it began to fade. All in all I was in love with their Ruby Power. Recently they have changed their formula of the shades in the Feria line. Last week I bought my trusty old Ruby Power. It was in a new fancy box with a catchy new name... (read more)

I've dyed my hair plenty of times in the past, (all different colors, from pink, black, platinum, to red.) in every single shade possible. Loreal Feria is by far my favorite hair dye brand. I've tried all the different shades of red dyes (going from some shade of brown)and even though the color would come out looking goreous, it would sadly fade in less than two weeks. Even though this is probably from bleaching my hair so much, it still claims to have long lasting color.): but out of all... (read more)

Please could someone tell me what other product to use to replace the old Feria Loreal?? email me at Marthabakerrn@aol.com The formula Loreal Feria drastically changed to over 2 years ago is so much different than the one I have used for the last 15 years. I've been purchasing Feria products for the past three years. I've tried just about every hair color (black, brown, red, blonde, and now violet) and loved every one of them. The conditioner included leaves hair feeling soft and looking very shiny, and luckily is not necessary for upkeep of the color, as there is only a very small amount in the box. The colors themselves stay fresh for several weeks, and then fade rather slowly. Some of the faded colors are undesirable, but not precisely... (read more)

FERIA® Is a TRANSPARENT, Permanent Color - How do you think they get that Multi-Tonal look? If you put FERIA® Starry Night (Black) on white hair the result would be Medium to Dark GREY which is WHY they don't recommend it for hair with visible gray or white hair or for hair that is naturally blonde or bleached. Catch a clue!!
