I have just died my hair with Herbal Essences Colour today and i think it is horrible. The colour was supposed to be an copper brown but i now have red hair which is no where near what it looks like on the box so i do not reccomend this dye at all.

They said it would only last for six weeks so I decided to give it a try and then I called ans they said it was permanent, and it looks awful and everyone is making fun of me for it and now it won't be gone in six weeks.
Good hair products, I should've gone so dark and should've taken the hair perfect colour test before hand.

Clairol Herbal Essences hair color is an amazing product! I'm afraid that Clairol will realize what a great product this is and take it off the market due to salon owners pressure. I can get amazing color (Brown/Grey to light Blond) without any stress on my hair, which is finally growing out...Way way better than Framesi or Redken. I love this stuff!!

I will NOT recommend Clairol herbal Essences hair color. I am a natural copper-penny red head. I tried dyeing it a lighter reddish blonde with this, and it did not show very well at all! And what it did show, washed out in a few washes! I DO NOT recommend this for a permanent colouring.

A great name, great fragrance - poor product. I was very disappointed with Clairol Herbal Essences Colour. It is expensive for a Clairol product. The color was not as brilliant as I expected and the tone was somewhat muddy. (Admittedly, I didn't use one of the more high-impact colors such as red)
The product was somewhat thin and a little runny and it made my scalp burn, despite the "no-ammonia" claim (with ammonia based colors the ammonia evaporates into the air as the color processes so the ...

Clairol Herbal Essences Colour is useless as far as I am concerned and would not buy it again.

I had used this Clairol Herbal Essences Colour product in different shades several years ago and was always pleased with the results. I dont know if they changed their formula but I was very disapointed with the dye. You could hardly see any color in my hair and what little color there was washed out within a week.
