Good Points: S.D.S saw blade release mechanism, speed selection by trigger switch or rotary wheel, build quality,Good cutting performance
Bad Points: None
General comments: I have now had this jigsaw for 2 years and I am very pleased with its performance & reliability, its cutting performance is fast & accurate. It has a 620 watt motor and variable speed control. The speed can be controlled either by the trigger or by using the knurled wheel on the front of the housing. When cutting, the motor revs increase steadily for a controlled start. It can also be set for three orbitial cutting modes. These thrust the blade forward on the cutting stroke increasing the speed of the cut, however, this can produce a rough edge when cutting softwood,so for this I use the non-orbitial mode. The blades can be fitted & replaced without the need for tools, just push the blade into the slot and the clamp springs close to secure the blade and to release, turn the red SDS clamping lever, the blade ejects automatically. The baseplate is made of alloy with a steel shoe screwed onto it. It has a smooth finish so as not to mark the wood when cutting. Bevel cuts up to 45 degrees can be made. No tools are required to loosen the baseplade for bevel cuts as it comes with a small lever attached which spins & locks the basepate to the angle required on the notches. I can truly say this is a decent tool & comes highly recommended by myself.
