Good Points: Excellent Build Quality, Excellent Value for Money
Bad Points: Very Poor Silencer (sound modulator) Spring weakens quickly
General comments: BSA Lightning Deluxe:
BSA broke the mould when they made this rifle, and it displays British Engineering at its finest. A superbly constructed and well-balanced Rifle is essential and this has the lot, it also puts to shame many rifles costing 10 times its price!, the only down sides to this gun are spring weakens quickly....I rectified this by fitting a Theoben Gas Ram (£55), and this should be good for 10,000 shots apparently. The other letdown is the quality of the silencer....oh dear! BSA...it doesn't really silence does it?
I think it is designed more for aesthetics and balance, rather than functionality. Buying a quality "aftermarket" silencer (that works) is a must.

Ive had my BSA Lightning Deluxe for a couple of months and found it to be a great all round rifle. You can feel the full power without too much recoil.
Pest control or target shooting this is the riffle if youre on a budget.

I purchased my BSA Lightning Deluxe 3 weeks ago. I bought the combo so it came with a Hawke 3-9x40 Sport HD scope fitted. This combination is superb for hunting. Within minuets of returning with my new gun I visited my usual shooting ground and zeroed the scope in to a 4mm grouping within around 10 minuets. I am very impressed with the walnut effect stock and the new gold trigger. I was also surprised with the great handling for such a light gun. The huge volumetric silencer causes the shot to s ...
