The Motorola Talkabout 180 mobile phone has good signal pickup, is rugged and has decent looks. Only bad point is NiMH battery drains very fast. Does anyone know if a Li-Ion battery is available for the T180? (read more)

In my total review I think this is a very good phone for first time mobile phone users because it is smiple and easy to use. But I think motorola need to rethink the logo section and make it posible to change the logo. (read more)

In these days of pic msgs, ringtones, downloads, games, screensavers, WAP etc, amazingly, some people still just want a phone to make phonecalls on. And the Motorola Talkabout T180 mobile phone is ideal for that. It's lost the housebrick look of the previous cheap Motorolas, but still feels robust. The rounded back fits nicely in the hand, the battery lasts ages, it has a big, clear screen and big clear buttons and the menus and quick access menu are reasonable simple to understand. No... The Motorola Talkabout T180 is an inexpensive mobile phone for the entry-level user. It's battery life is excellent, allowing for extended talking on the phone and it's built to absorb shocks from falls. My handset once fell from my breastpocket and scattered allover the floor! I simply re-inserted the SIM card, re-installed the batter and put back the cover and switched it on. It was working as if nothing had happened.
