Good Points: My husband and I returned from Cyprus about three weeks ago and stayed at the Napa Plaza hotel for two weeks. As this was our first trip to Cyprus we were informed by friends and collegues what Cyprus was like but we were completely unaware of the hotel and it's reviews.
Anyways, the only good points I can say about the Napa Plaza hotel is that the staff were very friendly and that is it.

Bad Points: Our room had ripped carpet in the entrance, tiles were missing on the bathroom walls and the floor. The balcony had a view of the roof where previous holiday makers had thrown chicken bones, days old pizza and burger king wrappers onto it and obviously had not been cleaned. The beds were not changed and the pillows smelled musty and had black spots. (Possibly mould?). Didn't get any sleep as our room was right above the hotel nightclub.
We complained and three days later was moved to another part of the hotel. Again disappointed and wanted to leave to come home. The second room was still noisy and air conditioning wasn't working properly.
We were on a b&b basis and considering the hotel is meant to be a 4-5 star hotel we feel cheated as the amount of money we have spent was completely wasted. The food was over salted, under cooked and cold.
The swimming pool was dirty. Never once was cleaned while we were there and mould and algae present.

General comments: I would never stay at the Napa Plaza hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone. I did not get any sleep, I had to pay extra for most things such as a remote for the tv, coffee/tea was extra, there was an extra charge for the keetle and they charged us for changing the room when were weren't happy..........I could go on and on. I am not a person to write reviews but I felt I needed to to warn people abou my experience. It is a shame as the hotel is nice looking on the outside but that was it.

I would definitely go back to the Napa Plaza, in Ayia Napa it had everything, 2 bars, 2 eating areas, a lovely outdoor pool, a cooler indoor pool, a health spa, air conditioning (which was most welcome), tennis court and games room. The staff were fantastic, extremely friendly and couldn't do enough to help you. The animation team provided excellent activities both through the day and in the evening, including water gym, water polo, scuba diving lessons, table tennis, tennis, football, killer da ...

Had a fabulous holiday at the Napia Plaza Hotel. Perfectly situated. When you leave the hotel - if you turn left and walk 5 Min's you are in the very lively clubbing scene centre and if you turn right and walk 5 Min's you reach the harbour with lovely fish restaurants. The hotel is an oasis of calm, spotlessly clean, staff very friendly, food is lovely. Couldn't say anything bad about it. More suited to couples or singles than families. Excellent for a break away without the kids , which is w ...

The Napia Plaza Hotel is literally in the heart of the little clubbing city. You are five minutes away from all the clubs and bars or five minutes in the other directions to the beaches. Always a nice, warm, modern surrounding with activities during the day and evening.

Overall this was a lovely hotel. It caters for absolutely all ages. It is lively and close to everything i.e. the beach, clubs, bars and restaurants.

I would highly recommend Limelights as THE best restaurant in Ayia Napa. Make sure you go there!

Would definately return to this hotel.

Napia Plaza Hotel was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The location was fantastic, really close to the night life and the beach. The accommodation was a*, ultra stylish, spotlessly clean, no screaming kids, friendly staff. Absolutely awesome, cant wait to go back there because it was worth every penny.
