    I stayed at the Napa Mermaid Hotel in Ayia Napa for a week, half board in October 2005 for the Ireland match, and I had a great time. The hotel is excellent value for money, and the food is of very high standard. The pool area is very clean, and the poolside bar allows you a much needed break out of the sun. As a previous review mentioned, it is a 10 minute walk to the main resort centre, which I actually preferred!

    Overall, an excellent value for money holiday, with 2 happy hours per day!!

    I enjoyed my stay at the Napa Mermaid, it was full of teenagers, just the right crowd, the pool area is beautiful, apart from the far distance which is a 10 minute walk from the centre of the city, I have no complaints, about this hotel, it is rated 3 star, but I'd give it a 4 !
