    The Vangelis Aparthotel is in a fabulous location, right in the middle of the resort. Beautiful beaches just a five minute stroll. Very friendly people. Can be very expensive because of the euro. Make sure you shop around. Would definitely go back again, it was a wonderful holiday.

    Location GREAT! - Couldn't be better in fact! The hotel Vangelis is on the main road where you will find everything you need. There are 2 beaches, lots of different restaurants, pubs, 2 nightclubs! a bakery, fast food etc and even a couple of banks & a chemist. Hotel basic but very clean & tidy which is the important thing. I stayed in block B which is the building opposite reception, some people moan in other reviews I have read that block B is far away, which in my experience is not the case. ...

    Good all round holiday for any age. Close to all bars, restaurants and shops. Close to beach and fig tree bay, bus service easy to use. Reception more than helpful with queries and open 24 hours, easy to change travellers cheques without leaving complex. Thomas Cook rep on hand most days helpful and cheerful.

    We had a lovely holiday here. Great location, apartments cleaned almost daily lovely pool. Fantastic entertainment team.

    Protaras is an ideal place for families.
    Blue flag beaches.
    Vangelis Hotel is excellent, maids even wash up for you.
    Pool cleaned everyday.
    Food is excellent.
    Been here twice.
    Will always use this hotel.

    Protaras is a lovely place, its quite clean but I would't recomment it to a friend.

    The Vangelis Aparthotel in Protaras is a brilliant place to stay. Located in a very good place. Staff were very helpful. It is great for teenage kids. The food was really nice. We upgraded to all-inclusive, and it is good value for money. We have booked again for August 2007.

    See you all then.

    We had a really enjoyable stay at the Vangelis Aparthotel in Protaras, and we would recommend it to anyone who wants a fair standard of accommodation, with a large spacious pool, as well as other basic hotel facilities that is based in a good central location, and just minutes away from lots of bars, shops, restaurants and the gorgeous Fig Tree Bay (get there for about 9.30am if you want a good spot).

    We had a really good time at Vangelis, all the people were really friendly and they tried 2 get everyone involved with the activities around the pool such as the cartoon hero's dance!! which we have taught everyone back home!! calm, relaxed and enjoyable area around the pool, bar or restaurant. Pool was lush! no-one was ever bored and the situation of Vangelis is perfect! You couldn't ask for anything more.

    Vangelis Aparthotel:
    Was disappointed with the fitness room, nobody in charge just a few run down pieces of basic equipment the same as you can buy from Argos. Also lifts in our section frequently out of order although you were allowed to use the lifts for the cleaners.

    We booked a jeep safari to Troodos Mountains, lovely trip, good fun with local guide who was very friendly and stopped to show us plants of interest. Cheaper to book on the high street than with your reps (same for all trips ...

    I went on holiday to Cyprus in August 2004 with Airtours for a family holiday and the holiday was brilliant. The Vangelis Aparthotel was really clean, we went self catering but tried food from the hotel restaurant and it was lovely. In the day there are many different things to eat and drink from the 2 pool bars and the restaurant ranging from burgers, chips, coke, and lemonade and ice lollies/ice creams etc. There is a great range of food which is very tasty. There were lifts in each apartment ...
