I ordered the solar powered hands free kit and at the checkout had the option to recieve smart phone holder aswell so I added this to my purchase. About a week later I received the hands free kit which I was very happy with... However there was no smart phone holder! I have sent 3 emails to the car audio centre all of which said they were sent and received successfully but I have not heard a thing back regarding my order! Bad customer service! (read more)

ordered a JL XD600/6 3/4/5/6 Channel 600w Amplifier on April 19th for £387.99; on May 3rd i called them by phone asking the tracking number of the shipment. the operator claimed the item is not available anymore and he proceeded to cancel the order. I successively checked their website, and the item shows as "IN STOCK" at £449.99. it seems to me a very unprofessional behaviour. (read more)

I ordered parts to fit my stereo in my new car last Oct/Nov time. I was sent the wrong parts which I returned as requested. I never received new parts from the company. I was told they were lost in the post over Christmas. In January I was told they wouldn't be in stock for a month. In February yet again I was told they were dispatched and still haven't received any parts. I have sent numerous emails throughout as well as by phone which costs 75p per minute! and very rarely receive anything... (read more)

After waitng a week for "In Stock" items and not having anything delivered I contacted caraudiocentre to be told that the stereo I wanted wasn't in stock. I then cancelled the order and bought the stereo elsewhere. caraudiocentre then didn't refund me and sent the items to me 5 days later. I am now wasting my time contacting them,couriers and paypal to sort out my refund and getting the items I no longer require back to them. Purchased some low priced car speakers from a high street electronics shop and they were just a waste of time / distorted and sounded just odd. Spoke to some one at car audio and got some yellow coned 6.5 inch speakers (in phase). Immediate difference - they can handle some power and now thankfully it sounds like a decent stereo system! I ordered a head unit from caraudiocentre.co.uk on the 19th of January and paid £6 for it to be delivered within 2-3 days. I then didn't hear anything until the 5th of February when I received an e-mail telling me the item was on back order and would be with me as soon as possible "normally within 5 days of the order being placed", which was a complete joke as by then it had already been 17 days. I only have 1 moan to give, when I purchased my subwoofer online it stated the item was in stock yet after I paid I got an email saying it wasn't in stock an would take a week to be delivered! They sent me AND charged me for two car audio units when I ordered one. I Can only imagine the website is not good. Also Their tracking link didn't work and neither does the link the returns system sent me. Terrible technology, and no humans. I'm not paying 75p a minute to solve their mistakes. The whole process was easy and simple. Delivery was by Royal Mail which I prefer because you can always go to them with the We Missed You card should you not be at home. My headphones came about 2 working days after order.
