My husband and I and our 10 year old daughter stayed at the Aquamarina Beach for 1 week. We had never done all inclusive before so were a little unsure but we were very pleased with the variety and amount of food available. The rooms were clean and well maintainted and the staff very helpful. The amount of activities on offer were easily enough to keep all ages happy. There was a great mix of nationalities at the hotel which made for a good cosmopolitan feel.
Our only small moan would be there could have been more sun loungers as getting up at 7.30am to get one was not fun. But saying this if we could not get one by any of the pools we could allways get one on the beach, and they are free! We would definately go again!

We stayed at Aquamarina Beach Club in Oct 08 and had a wonderful week. The hotel is quite remote and whilst we paid for a couple of trips, any more than a week and I think the kids would be bored. The accomodation was clean and well maintained. The rooms cleaned everyday and lots of fresh linen and towels. Safe environment for kids and great value for money

Excellent family accommodation ( especially for families with teenagers)- adjoining rooms with separate bathrooms and balcony. Excellent food-great variety. Food and quality drinks available all day. Nice pools. Whole complex is very clean and quiet. Beautiful beach. An excellent all inclusive holiday. This hotel had a change of management last year and it is now really good. We will definitely return. Only bad points, Not enough sun loungers- but they are free! No coffee or tea making facilitie ...

Great place for a break, good clean resort with very friendly staff and food was very good and plentiful. Would use the resort again and an ideal location for a quiet relaxing break. Entertainment at night was poor but could travel into town for nightlife.

We had a great time, weather good, food above average, as much drink as you can sup and we found not to bad entertainment. Plenty of activities to do, free bus service to main town and if you like to be tucked in bed by 11pm this is the place to go. On dropping off other hol makers at their hotels this one really did look the best.

Just arrived back from a week at Aquamarina Beach Club and cannot really find any fault with it. We had a really good holiday. The resort was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, at any time of the day, food was good bearing in mind the amount of people they have to cater for. Cannot comment on the entertainment as we did not really catch any of the shows. My only gripe would be the lack of sun loungers around the pools but there is still plenty of places to lay your towels down ...

Our visit was June 2008 for one week and we travelled with four other friends - three couples age between 45 - 55 - all I can say is that we had a fantastic time, after reading the reviews I was a bit disappointed and not looking forward in going - I don't know what people are really looking for in a holiday do they not read the brochure before they book, I did and I liked what I read and I was pleasantly surprised when we got there. Yes the resort is out of the way but why would you want to le ...

We stayed for one week with our friends 3 couples - we had a fantastic time - very relaxed and enjoyable week. We stayed at the bottom end of the complex which I liked better, the entertainment was at the other end but we made our own entertainment and mixed with other guest and had a good laugh there is plenty of things to do. The grounds are beautiful and our rooms were pleasant and comfortable and clean, there is a courtesy buggy that runs up and down the complex or you can ring from your roo ...

My wife and I have stayed at this resort two years running Aug 2006 & Aug 2007 . We have booked again for Aug 2008. We both can't fault the staff or the service at this hotel complex . Ok so the same food comes around now and again but its the same at home or do you have 365 different meals every year. If you want a chill out holiday this is the place for you. Try the walks along the beach to Vilamoura or Albefuria walk around the gardens or just laze around the pool your holiday is what you mak ...

In short the only two things this place had going for it were the food and the pools, everything was aimed at other nationalities and in a hotel of over 200 rooms we were one of only 3 British families staying there.
I really loved Portugal and will be returning with my family, however it will not be at the Aquamarina Beach Club!

This was the worst holiday we have ever had. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, don't bother! All the English people were complaining that it was a German hotel and a very bad example of all inclusive hotel.

Good games room. Regular music played in the lounge each evening and the cabaret nights were of a decent standard. Because of the restaurant problems we felt forced to pay the extra subsidy levied in the Adriana hotel restaurant, in order to enjoy evening meals that we would have expected from a four star holiday. We are now in the process of a dispute with Cosmos to request reimbursement of this money.

In general the resort was very clean and friendly staff at hand and rooms were always kept clean by house keeping.
A few tips: Take your own towels and book transfers from town at a quarter to a third of the price. A taxi to the resort will cost about 40 Euro whilst you can get a shuttle for 8 Euro each. Wake up early to ensure a sunbed around the pool.

We have just come back from a 9 day holiday with our 2 children. I was a little worried after reading the reports that we were not going to enjoy our holiday but I have found the Aquamarine Beach Club to be a very nice place to stay. There are two hotels, the Aquamarine and the Adriana and we have access to the bars, restaurants, shops, pools and amenities at both reports. The food was sometimes a bit samey but with 3 restaurants to choose from there was not a day that any of us went hungry with ...

I was a bit concerned about staying here based on the reviews I read before leaving. I found the place perfect in every way. I did hire a car and found a road (track) to the beach a little further along towards Vilamoura, thus avoiding the 93 steps down to the sand - not a problem for me but my wife preferred to avoid the steps. The beer was the usual lager/beer found in these sorts of areas, and it was perfectly OK and four or five pints every evening was a perfect ending to every day. Food was ...

The Aquamarina Beach Club in Praia Da Falesia has excellent gardens, a lovely pool and the beach is only a short walk away. We would suggest that you take a lovely walk to the marina at Vilamoura. The rooms would benefit from having tea / coffee making facilities.

The Aquamarina Beach Club is not a 4 star Hotel compared to the others i have stayed in.
We have just returned from the Aquamarina after 14 days, this hotel may have 4 star rooms and grounds but it stops there. The entertainment is a joke and stops at 10pm its like a ghost town by 10:30 the food is on a three day rota and has never seen 4 star.
It's a 40min walk to civilisation via the beach or a dusty forest
we spent over £70 on taxis just to get out on a night, very quite and not wort ...

All up, the Aquamarina Beach Club is a four-star hotel, but lets itself down a little with the en-masse cooking of main meals and poor quality soft-drinks and juice. A 7 day trip here is recommended however and if you have already booked, don't fear as we loved our 7 day relaxation holiday, spent by the pool, playing mini-golf and organised trips into town.
