Have dived in Las Galletas before and stayed elsewhere, big mistake because having found this hotel it will be my base for years to come. Rooms are of a good size with balcony for drying off kit. Room service kept the room very clean and tidy. Being all inclusive for the first time in my life was a little daunting but what a bargain ! From breakfast through lunch, snacks and evening meal, everything fitted in well with our diving schedules - the bonus was the food was good and free drinks on... (read more)

Just returned from Tenerife after 10 amazing days. The hotel was very good value. Food was different and lots of varieties daily, staff very friendly. The pool was amazing and the great weather helped. Even if you had no sun there was enough entertainment to keep you busy. The area was quiet and very close to the Harbour in Las Giagantes if you wanted a lively night. It was just what we were looking for. On a bad note the hotel itself needs a good reburbish on the outside - inside we... (read more)

We had read many reviews before going on our family holiday here and were a little cautious but we had an amazing holiday and you get wht you pay for. The food although limited was lovely and the entertainment seemed to be run by one guy but kept the kids amused so that made us happy. There was no kids club or entertainment program in the day as advertised to us by low cost holidays and definately no free wifi but all in all we wanted a nice relaxing holiday and that is what we got. The... (read more)

Costa Del Silencio, Ten Bel Alborada; Spent two weeks at this destination, close to airport, 20 minutes if going direct. Read other reviews before I went so was not surprised by outside look of buildings, however apartments were large and clean and good value for money. The best things about this complex is the swimming pool, I would guess 100 meters by 60 meters, amazing. Although large complex, about 800 people, always space in the pool. I felt food was of a good standard, 4 meals a day if... (read more)

Hi there!! On arrival we were allocated room 420 and on our first night we found that the noise from the traffic and the grill outside was unbearable. Luckily on complaining to reception we were moved the very next day to the more suitable and quieter room. As the coach arrived at Alborada, we were amazed at how grim the hotel looked, we were all like is this us? is this not a car park?? As we looked around the hotel it was better, very basic but we were pleased that it was a good value for... (read more)

Costa Del Silencio is one of the quieter coastal areas and is ideal if you are looking for a chillout / peaceful holiday resort. There are a mixture of restuarants and bars scattered about including Spanish, Chinese, English and German. There's not too many shops about but it is only a few miles to Los Cristianos and Las Americas where there is a much bigger selection. Both of these resorts are just a short bus journey away and costs a couple of euros in bus fare.
The town of Las Galletas...

There is no doubt that the complex needs a lick of paint but the staff are friendly, the pool and the view great. It is peaceful and relaxing. We had a lovely week there. The rooms are spacious but again need a little tlc. (read more)

We booked our holiday at the last minute to the Ten Bel Alborada in Costa Del Silencio, Tenerife, and then I read the reviews which I wish I hadn't. The hotel is the ugliest building I have ever seen, but once inside it is OK, except for there being no air conditioning. The pool is fabulous, especially when it has been cleaned once a week. I didn't find the staff very friendly or helpful, and round the pool bar they didn't like anyone at all, except the Spanish of course. The entertainment... (read more)

We booked a last minute deal at the Costa Del Silencio Ten Bel Alborada Hotel in Tenerife. The rooms were clean and basic. We went all inclusive, but found the food wasn't brilliant.
The Hotel looks like a multi-storey car park from the outside, and there isn't much to do out and about. We found the pool to be spot-on, and the weather was great. We just didn't enjoy not having any British tourists staying at hotel.

10 of us stayed all inclusive at the Tenbel Alborada over Christmas and New Year, we were of mixed ages from 70's down to 10. We all had a great time. Holiday food was good, entertainment was ok but as we were in a group we made our own entertainment. We had three teenagers with us there wern't any night clubs or teen entertainment in the area, we knew this before we went so this is not a complaint. The area is very spanish with some lovely little shops and bars. It would be a shame to... (read more)

The outside of Ten Bel Alborada looked like a multi-storey car park or a prison. Costa Del Silencio was really nice but as we went for the winter time it was quite cold even though the brochure stated it would be quite warm. As it was Christmas, the shops were closed a lot of the time so there wasn't much to do. You couldn't sunbath because of the weather so most of the time I stayed indoors and played cards. I must say if you want a really good day out, go to loro park it is really good... (read more)

The rooms at Ten Bel Alborada are ok and room service comes around every day to make the beds and clean the room. If you are all inclusive you have 3 meals a day and you can eat and drink as much as you want, it's great, with many different selections of foods and puddings including most English foods. I would defiantly go again. We went in December and the weather was hot a bit breezy at times but I came back with a tan. If you do go at xmas time take a few jumpers just for the evening. The hotel resembles a multi-story concrete car park and is next to the town of Las Galletas on the south coast. The town consists of some shops, bars, a small port and that's about it. It's very busy with traffic, quite dirty with no beach to speak of. The Ten-Bel "resort" which includes the hotel seems to go on for ever along the rocky coast and inland from the town. The whole resort is run down and in need of a great deal of investment. There are also a few shops, restaurants and bars in... (read more)

You get what you pay for at Ten Bel Alborada.
The location is good with a relatively unspoilt town outside. Ideal for a week's break where you just want to chill out. Usual Spanish indifference to customer service. Food average "canteen standard." Evening entertainment pathetic unless you are under 6.
All in all, if you want more, pay more and go to one of the main resorts. We had a relaxing time, sat in 30 degrees of sun all day, excellent pool. What more do you want for your money.

I had a great holiday at Ten Bel Alborada. What a great place.
Shops just around the corner.
Sea straight infront of you.
Huge pool.
What more do you want. The only bad thing was the entertainment.

When we arrived our first thoughts were of Costa Del Silencio Ten Bel Alborada were OK. This was because after reading other reviews we thought that it would be awful but it wasn't that bad. The food was nice, but more for the foreigners. The food was mainly for the Spanish.
The pool was cleaned out on a Friday, but ours had been cleaned out before that because there was a jelly fish in the pool. 1 person was stung.

Hi!
We've booked to go here next week but information seems to be scarce.
Can you advise if we need to bring a travel kettle for the apartment and will we need to bring our own clothes hangers?
Thanks a lot!
