    Good Points: This monitor has a good quality CRT, its lasted longer than a 17inch TAXAN monitor I bought two years later!-do not by a TAXAN !


    Bad Points: It is hard to make out all the functions unless you have an instruction booklet.


    General comments: If you are looking for a long lasting monitor the Compaq 171FS is the one to get, and because of its age you will only pick them up second hand. The overall performance of this monitor is good,It has basic functions like degauss, contrast, Brightness and screen size buttons, it also has a function button but I have never been shore of what its for.
