Good Points: Wonderful festival and highly recommended.
Bad Points: The first few years the toilets were awful but I would say that last year was the best yet on that front. Also, as the event has grown parking has moved further and further away and you could have a 15 - 20 minute walk from your car with all your kit. If you need to do a couple of journeys it can be knackering especially as the whether has always been hot and sunny - on the plus side its a good excuse to drink beer.
General comments: The atmosphere at the Isle of Wight Festival is brilliant. This summer will be my 5th year in a row and although it has grown with every year it has still retained its friendly and chilled atmosphere. We have not yet had any rain to speak of and the sun has shone and made the whole thing feel like a holiday. The ferry journey across to the Island also adds to the feeling of being overseas. I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of giving it a go.
