Download festival 2011 The download festival has been running for an ancient 41, adrenaline fueled rock, years. When I first saw the line up to the 2011 event I felt as though I was reading it from a dusty NME paper dated 1980. The big acts that were responsible to the large amount older rockers were the likes of, The Cult, Thin Lizzy, Def Leppard, Alice Cooper and Cheap trick. I love metal and everything it stands for! This is one of the biggest metal concerts in the world... of course I'm going to rate it very high!
Seeing Slipknot, koRn and many other big bands was truly awesome. What makes this so fantastic is that the crowds are lovely, people are so super friendly and everybody has the same good taste in music!

Download Festival - Even though this year was a let down, I will definitely go again. The amount of huge metal bands they have lined up is amazing.
