Bought this LCD TV from Currys in October 2004 for £899 and paid £290 for 5 years cover. It has worked fine until now, but guess what? It's now out of warranty and has the 'sound but no picture' problem reported by others. The manual indicates the Display Panel has an expected lifetime of 50,000 hours (minimum) which I thought was a form of guarantee, but apparently not. The previous TV I bought lasted over 15 years!

when i bought the tv back in 2004 it was a middle range lcd and has been and continues to be hassle free and a great pc monitor.

I hate my TV! Got it for my birthday in April, it packed up around May and now I have no picture, only sound. Can anyone tell me what model has an ipod dock?

Never buy a Logik TV. Guess what - sound but no picture since last week. Glad I checked this site as I have moved to Ireland and do not have a local Curry's so I will just throw it out and save myself a lot of hassle and expense and never buy a TV from Curry's again. Incidentally, this is the 3rd TV I've bought from Curry's in the past 10 years that has ended in tears.

Bought Logik 22" DVD combi 628. First one the tuner wasn't working at all and unable to get any picture, second one was perfect for 10 minutes but then the picture went completely and just had sound. I wish I had read these comments before purchasing this item... twice!!

    The Logik LCX27WN2 didn't last 12mth.
If I knew now when I bought the lcd I wouldn't have bought it. Its a waste of £600 pound.

On occasions the tv has no picture or sound. The television has to be switched on an off to work. The television needed its first Needed repair 10 months into purchasing the tv, I have had the tv repaired now five times, but curry's has lost one of the call outs that was to replace the same part again. I will never buy anything from curry's again, I still do not have a working tv and the amount of time I had to take off work is a joke.

Waste of money do not buy a Logik TV. After less than two years the TV does not turn on correctly have to stand there for about 15-20 to keep trying to get it to turn on. Cannot be repaired so total waste of money

After two years of owning this product, its packed up with the "Sound but no picture" issue. Upon taking it to a local TV repair shop, I was told the invertor board was the problem, a snip at over £200 to fix. However, a quick look at Ebay showed me one seller who repairs these boards for £65+P&P! Bargain! Hoping to get mine fixed soon and then sell it on for a more reputable brand. I won't be buying anything from Currys again!

The sound on this Logik LCX27WN2 is fantastic, great bass but you have to go to the menu, click it twice and the sound menu comes up, then adjust to best sound, the picture and sound factory setting are poor so adjust colour contrast yourself.

Nice T.v, Neat looking. What a surprise, another one with perfect sound but no picture, another loyal customer with currys but no more, £180 call out fee & then paying whatever is wrong with it on top of that. No more own brand names for me!

Bought my Logik LCX27WN2 in May of 2005. Last night the picture vanished and I have only sound. I'd paid £159 at the time of purchase for the three year extended warranty which expired two months ago. Just my luck!

Was quoted £179.99 by Currys for someone to come and look at the set.

Didn't accept this and fear that the three years I've had out of this set is probably all I'm going to get. Oh for an old cathode ray set which would last twenty years. ...

I've got the Logik LCXW30 and have just got sound and no picture. Judging by the other reviews it seems it's a common fault with this product. Take my advice and ignore the price and save up for a decent make and don't buy it from curry's!

If anyone managed to get theirs fixed for a decent price please let me know
    Thanks

Having read other comments which say that cannot be repaired by anyone other than Currys as it is their own brand and they are not interested, I do not have much faith that my Logik LCX27WN2 will be repaired. I will try my luck, however if I get a poor response I will not be purchasing a 'Logik' branded or any thing else from Currys ever again. Purchased late 2004 / early 2005 for circa £950
