I have purchased a TV from Logik before, and it was appaling! The cable wouldnt fit, started to break after 6 months! Please DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM LOGIK, IT IS A COST-CUTTING COMPANY AND THEY ARE TERRIBLE! I cant name anything that I liked about it! When it worked it wasn't bad, but I dont want to say "when it worked"! I dont think it is unreasonable to expect something that you have bought to work! My 1 year old LOGIK L17LID648 (purchased in Curry's)has had sound problems from only a few weeks old, with the sound level raising itself to very loud levels all of its own accord for periods of time and then going back down again. After about 6 months the sound became permanently totally distorted and 'hissy'. These TVs are a total waste of money. I'm disgusted. Our Logik TV is playing up and is just over 12 months old. I am taking it back to Curry's but everyone in the UK should note the Sale of Goods Act and what it says about durability. If there is a fault that isn't a result of wear and tear, there is a good chance it was there at time of purchase (particularly as many people on this site have similiar problems). The Act recommends around 6 years as a reasonable time for a product to last, but you could even argue a TV should last longer,... (read more)

Bought my Logik LCX27WN2 in May of 2005. Last night the picture vanished and I have only sound. I'd paid £159 at the time of purchase for the three year extended warranty which expired two months ago. Just my luck!
Was quoted £179.99 by Currys for someone to come and look at the set.
Didn't accept this and fear that the three years I've had out of this set is probably all I'm going to get. Oh for an old cathode ray set which would last twenty years.

The Logik LCX27WN2 LCD TV is very good quality for the price. I have had mine for over a year now, and I have never had any problems with it. The sound quality may not be 100 percent, but then there are a lot of Dolby surround sound systems available nowadays that are easily hooked up to the TV.

We bought our logik tv on 26th December from Currys. On the 27th of December, and countless times since, the screen has suddenly turned black! Currys replaced the set, with no difficulty. The installers didn't know when I asked them, but is it not possible for the set to recognise when a DVD player is loaded, and automatically change to AV? The engineer who called for the fault and had the set replaced said pin 8 on the scart signals DVD connection, but not all TVs recognise the signal!
