I have purchased a TV from Logik before, and it was appaling! The cable wouldnt fit, started to break after 6 months! Please DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM LOGIK, IT IS A COST-CUTTING COMPANY AND THEY ARE TERRIBLE! I cant name anything that I liked about it! When it worked it wasn't bad, but I dont want to say "when it worked"! I dont think it is unreasonable to expect something that you have bought to work! When the cable comes out the back, which a sneeze can cause by the way, it is near... (read more)

had logik 26" with built in dvd and freeview for 3 months now. as many have said, the sound is dreadful ( a surround sound system may help ), picture is just OK. Not for a living room. Bedroom maybe! If you have got say, another 30-40 quid buy another make, it,ll be worth it in the long run! If your eye,s are not as good as they used to be, you can forget about trying to read the details of programmes on the bottom of screen without binoculers! Tinny and depthless sound. viewing from an... (read more)

Great picture and easy, simple controls. Sound generally not particularly good (not stereo). Had to take back for replacement twice to Currys due to intermittent interruption in sound, really annoying, especially when listening to music. Maybe manufacturer fault. Shame as otherwise good value. Won't buy this make again or recommend. (read more)

my brother bought my mum for christmas a logik from dixons ,i think its a 27" with dvd and freeveiw ,from the minute she turned it on the sound was appalling it sounds like a transistor radio stood in a biscuit tin, we are unable to get any bass from it,the sound is very anoying so we decided to complain about it, i thought it might have been due to the flat small design but my girlfriend bought her mother a luxor 22" with dvd and freeveiw from asda and that sounded much better and the user... We bought a Logik 24"TV with built in DVD from Currys for our bedroom to replace our Philips TV which performed well but did not have built in Freeview From the start we failed to get any BBC stations so after 2 days took it back to our local branch of Currys, who insisted it was OK and frankly were very rude and unhelpful saying it was our tv aerial at fault. We took it home and tried it again and failed to get any reception. We then took the TV to another branch of Currys who tested it... (read more)

My 1 year old LOGIK L17LID648 (purchased in Curry's)has had sound problems from only a few weeks old, with the sound level raising itself to very loud levels all of its own accord for periods of time and then going back down again. After about 6 months the sound became permanently totally distorted and 'hissy'. These TVs are a total waste of money. I'm disgusted. Had I known that Logik TVs were so bad, I would not have purchased. (read more)

I bought a Bush 22" flat screen LCD TV & DVD about 15 months ago from Argos, the picture was very good but not long after the warranty ran out the sound started to go off and on. I took it for repair to Grays of Bentley who wanted nearly £100 to repair it. I decided to take it away from them as they did not give any confidence in their report and gave it to a more capable repair service who then stated that Grays of Bentley Doncaster had caused more damage than it would have been before... Bought my logik lcx27wn2 in 2005. Just got back off hols and the damn thing has no picture or sound!!! It does have sound on the info channel, but not regular TV.
It has always (from being new) frozen with a neon pink screen which happens once every 6 months or so. This usually happens when I have just put my pin number into watch a sky box office, but taking out the scarts, and cables and putting them back in a few times sorts this problem out.
Having read a few rewiews,I think I am... (read more)

Our Logik TV is playing up and is just over 12 months old. I am taking it back to Curry's but everyone in the UK should note the Sale of Goods Act and what it says about durability. If there is a fault that isn't a result of wear and tear, there is a good chance it was there at time of purchase (particularly as many people on this site have similiar problems). The Act recommends around 6 years as a reasonable time for a product to last, but you could even argue a TV should last longer,... (read more)

Bought this LCD TV from Currys in October 2004 for £899 and paid £290 for 5 years cover. It has worked fine until now, but guess what? It's now out of warranty and has the 'sound but no picture' problem reported by others. The manual indicates the Display Panel has an expected lifetime of 50,000 hours (minimum) which I thought was a form of guarantee, but apparently not. The previous TV I bought lasted over 15 years! Never buy a Logik TV. Guess what - sound but no picture since last week. Glad I checked this site as I have moved to Ireland and do not have a local Curry's so I will just throw it out and save myself a lot of hassle and expense and never buy a TV from Curry's again. On occasions the tv has no picture or sound. The television has to be switched on an off to work. The television needed its first Needed repair 10 months into purchasing the tv, I have had the tv repaired now five times, but curry's has lost one of the call outs that was to replace the same part again. I will never buy anything from curry's again, I still do not have a working tv and the amount of time I had to take off work is a joke. (read more)

After two years of owning this product, its packed up with the "Sound but no picture" issue. Upon taking it to a local TV repair shop, I was told the invertor board was the problem, a snip at over £200 to fix. However, a quick look at Ebay showed me one seller who repairs these boards for £65+P&P! Bargain! Hoping to get mine fixed soon and then sell it on for a more reputable brand. I won't be buying anything from Currys again! (read more)

Bought my Logik LCX27WN2 in May of 2005. Last night the picture vanished and I have only sound. I'd paid £159 at the time of purchase for the three year extended warranty which expired two months ago. Just my luck!
Was quoted £179.99 by Currys for someone to come and look at the set.
Didn't accept this and fear that the three years I've had out of this set is probably all I'm going to get. Oh for an old cathode ray set which would last twenty years. (read more)

Unreliable, poor value for money and disgusted with Currys that they do not tell you when purchasing that it is their own brand and not a reputable recognised manufacturer. If you do not take out the extended warranty Currys try and sell you they stitch you up as only their Tech Guys have access to the repair manuals and they charge a minimum £120 call out charge.

The Logik LCX27WN2 LCD TV is very good quality for the price. I have had mine for over a year now, and I have never had any problems with it. The sound quality may not be 100 percent, but then there are a lot of Dolby surround sound systems available nowadays that are easily hooked up to the TV.
It is a fantastic looking LCD TV without a doubt. It is silver and black to go with any colour scheme. (read more)

I spent several months surfing the net on sites like this before purchasing my Logik LCX27WN2. Given that LCD television is still in it's infancy I opted for this reasonably priced set. Sure it's not the most well known brand in the world and it may not have the best reputation, however, it is affordable at £999, comes with the standard one year gaurantee which you can always extend towards the end of this period for 2 or 3 years.
