“Great Customer Service. ”

I have had Tmobile for a very long time now, from being on my mothers line to my older sisters to now my own. With all the years with this company i never had one problem with them. Yes the service may not always be that great but its ok still cause the customer service pay off for it . i Recently have been going through a really ruff time in my life financially and emotionally and hit rock bottom, so i recieved my text message with my monthly bill and noticed it was extremly high. I placed a call to customer service and spoke to i have to say has been one of thee best employee's there she was VERY nice,understanding,caring and had a very sweet tone. Great customer service skills and went over and beyond and really made my day better. More people should be like her than just go to work with a attitude and be rude 24/7 to customers. This employee DESERVES a raise and i really hope her boss can acknowledge her for being a great employee and honor my wish to give her a raise or a bonus. O i asked for her ID number(54678) so that she may be located and aware of her great impact she made on me and for offering great customer service. “T-Mobile Are The Best Network In The UK!”

I have been with t-mobile for over a year and i am very happy with t-mobile! One of the customer service staff gave me 500 MB of internet for ever and it was not even included in my price plan and he gave to me for free! and also what is good is that if you are searching the web and there is no t-mobile connection it automatically switchs to orange's signal! t-mobile is the best network ever!

“Great customer service”

I have just phoned up t-mobile to query my bill, I thought I had picture messages included in my bill and in fact I don't. Just to be clear, I am currently on a SIM15 deal. I get 500 mins, 600 texts and unlimited internet (with fair use policy) My loyalty bonus came to an end and that is what made me look at my bill in more detail. I phoned up 150, had a chat, got put through to the upgrade team and came away with a £7.50 monthly discount for 12 months. My previous discount was £6 a month. I can't complain at all. I will do the same next year too. I think some of the complaints on here are mainly from people who want something for nothing or do not read the small print in their contracts and decide to go viral and make complaints. Some people may have very good reasons to complain too but I believe the previous statement covers most.

My name is Mitch and I live in southport I have been with t-mobile for two years and could not be happier . On the occasions I have had to speak to customer services they Have have been extremely helpful and polite. Today I spoke to a Gentleman called Andrew over an issue regarding data usage and he sorted the problem out so well that I felt the need to write A review. The service is excellent, coverage fantastic unless you happen to be In deepest darkest Lake District, but other than that it great. I really can't understand the negative reviews I would recommend t-mobile to anyone. Having said that I do pay the bill on time

“Quality service”

I have been a T-Mobile customer for over 5 years now. I'm still using the same SIM card which I bought when I came to the UK. I'm on Pay As You Go, and I have not been using data services, just talk and sms. Reason I'm writing this review is that I can't understand the negative reviews here, and felt obliged to give a little balance. I think the customer service is great. They have always been helpful, capable of answering my various questions promptly (e.g. expiration time if I don't top up, number change etc.) or resolve any issues I had (opting out of promotional SMS' for example). They charge a small fee, it's £0.25 and it's a one time fee, not a per minute charge, if you think about it, it's nothing. If you are willing to pay that, it's always easy to get to an operator. The reception has always been good, even in places where other people using other carriers suffered. So in comparison to other networks, in my experience, T-Mobile is above average. It'll only get better, since now it can use Orange's network too. Also, never ever had any issues with lost text messages or dropped calls either. I have used it abroad too on occasion, and roaming works well too. It may not be the cheapest, but it's not overly expensive (I'm talking about pay as you go minutes and text here). For me the quality of the service has been well worth the price. Overall, I must admit I'm not up to date with prices at all, I haven't been shopping around lately. All I wanted to say with this review is that the quality is good!

I used to be a t-mobile customer but left because 3 were offering me a better deal on an iphone but went back to t-mobile as soon as I could!!! The're the only network that dont charge you for going over internet limits. Ive got no idea what 1gb is but when i was on 3 i kept going over and they were charging me a fortune, this doesnt happen on t-mobile. I'll agree that customer service over the phone isnt the best but ive had no problems when i went into stores. Only criticism i have is that if your phone goes faulty they give you a really cheap and nastly loan phone but hey they fixed my old phone for free within a week and a half so not too fussed. Signal is brilliant now you can use orange aswell!

“Very surprised.”

I joined T-Mobile at the begininng of 2011 as they were offering new contract deals on - at the time - the latest smartphones. The one I selected was an HTC Desire S, the second best phone on the market at the time. For £25 per month, I was given unlimited texts, absolutely unlimited internet (no fair usage policy), and 300 mobile minutes, which also included free calls to some premium numbers. A year and a half later, it is still a good deal, let alone back then, it really was the best deal around. Signal reception is generally brilliant, I can get signal and internet access where most other people can't on their providers, but there have been the odd times where I've gone to check my phone and it's not receiving any service. A bit inconvenient that you have to do a quick reset or wait 5 minutes for it to sort itself out, but apart from that, I can't really complain. The most astonishing and surprsing thing is though, is that I am still connected to the service. Let me explain. Three months ago now, my ex manager illegally sacked all of his staff one by one as we all began to find out the dodgy dealings that he was getting up to and faking the books at work. With how awesomely the English government loves to treat genuinely honest hard working folk, they REFUSED to pay me any Job Seeker's Allowance despite my situation. Regardless, I finally landed myself a very rewarding job 3 months later. As you can guess, for those 3 months I had NO income at all so was unable to pay any bills whatsoever. For those 3 months that I did not pay T-Mobile, they still left my service connected, which meant that I could still text, make phone calls (even to premium numbers) and use the internet. They didn't even bother to send a letter asking for me to catch up on repayments. I can't think of any other company that is so lenient about not being payed and still providing you with a full service. They truly earned my respect, as during this time and starting my new job in the business rep industry, use of my phone was essential. This is why I am so surprised to see so many negative reviews about T-Mobile. I've had nothing to complain about them at all. My Sky service on the other hand..... The internet and TV dropped out numerous times during the period where I was able to pay them, and was instantly cut off the day after payment was due.

“T mobile gave me a contract when nobody else would due...”

T mobile gave me a contract when nobody else would due to previous adverse credit problems, I got a free Sony xperia arc on a 24 month contract at £35.75 per month with 1200 mins and unlimited texts.

The service I have recieved so far is excellent, good coverage, good customer service. They have put a credit limit of £75 which is great so there will be no unexpected large phone bills, which is great as im forever going over my useage as I call my banks alot to utilise mobile banking. I also recieved a phone call after I had started to use my phone to make sure I knew about my contract and how much useage I get a month which was good !

So far so good ! Cant fault them one bit.

Look forward to years of custom with t mobile !

“I have been with T-mobile since the days when they...”

I have been with T-mobile since the days when they were known as Mercury 1-1. Well, I must say from my own experience that they are without any doubt THE most helpful, most obliging and most knowledgeable. I have occasionally had problems, not with signal strength,(no provider can give 100% signal everywhere) but with setting up services on my (numerous)phones, ranging from i-phone4, BB 8900, HTC Desire. Without fail, someone has either helped me immediately, or called me back, and ALWAYS resolved any problems. I have been with other Networks, namely Vodafone, Orange and 3. In comparison, their Service and knowledge is abysmal!I don't work or have any connection with T-Mobile, apart from being a very satisfied Customer. Would I go anywhere else? No Chance. I always find that if you have a problem, it's the way you approach the person on the end of the phone you are talking to! Remember we are all Human, and I find that civility ALWAYS gets the best result. So IF you have a gripe,remember to be civil, even when you may fell exasperated!

Firstly I have read many of the comments below and having worked for T-Mobile as a manager in the contact centre I know what people are talking about.
I am with O2 and have been since 2003 but I also have 4 contracts on T-Mobile. So i write this review as a point of view as not only as a customer but from a point of view from being a customer of another network too! I think T-Mobile are brilliant!!!
Majority of customers that complain don't know or read their Terms & Conditions. Majority of people who complain are customers who do not pay their bills on time and usually get suspended as a result. 4.4.5 of the Terms & Conditions state that if you do not pay the bill by the date set out on it then you will have broken an important condition which is a fundamental part of the agreement between you and us and this will entitle us to suspend your sim card from the network. Pay your bills on time and you don't get suspended. You don't go into Tesco and get a whole trolly full of food and tell them at the cashier I'll pay you in 2 weeks or I'll pay half now and have with my next weeks shopping! Why do customers expect this from any other company... Pay your bills on time or you get to speak to the awful collections department. You seriously can't expect a service from them when you ain't paying your bills so tough!
Another reason why customers complain is about faulty handsets, these issues are beyond T-Mobile's control. T-Mobile are a network provider and not the manufacturer of the phones customers have, therefore this means if your phone is faulty T-Mobile will send your phone off for repair and provide you with a temp phone if there are any available, (T-Mobile are not legally obliged to provide this service). T-Mobile are solely responsible for providing their customers with a SIM card, the network - mins texts etc and are not responsible for your phone.
Many people complain about the cancellation of their contracts. It is very clear in point 2 of the Terms & Conditions which clearly state that customers must provide a 30 days notice of cancellation. If they are within their commitment period then they will be charged an early termination fee which will be the line rental including any extra boosters or service charges from the cancellation date to the end of the commitment period. Customers can provide the cancelltion notice 30 days prior to their commitment end date and there will be no extra charges besides your line rental up until that date. For example, if your contract ends on 01/06/2011 then you can provide your 30 days notice on 01/05/2011 so that it gets cancelled on 01/06/2011. The Terms & Conditions also clearly state the customers can ONLY provide their cancellation notice by calling customer services. If a customer requests a PAC code then this can be provided at anytime as well. One fails to see the any complications about cancelling an account, it's very simple!
Some people on here are complaining about the network and that they receive no signal or poor signal. It is a customers responsibility to use the network coverage checker to see what it is like at different post codes. Check you home and work post codes to ensure that you get a good signal, if it shows up as poor then go with someone else. What you also must consider is the type of building you are in. Thicker Walls etc can affect your network coverage too. As most people are aware, Orange and T-Mobile are merging, certain changes have already been implemented and many more will surely come too. Currently customers can opt into using the orange signal when there is no T-Mobile coverage. This will change for customers to use 3G services soon too. T-Mobile also have a deal with other service providers for T-Mobile customers to use to get a greater 3G coverage in the UK. Some people have wrote they've been with T-Mobile for 5 years and they don't get any signal, well why stay with T-Mobile for such a long time if you don't get signal!
Yes there are call centres in the Philippines and the reason for this is that it costs the company less. I personally trained a lot of the staff in those contact centres and are really nice people. Hey, be patient with them, if it costs the company less the better deals they can offer their customers.
Many complaints from people on here are in my point of view, a load of.....

It's a good company which is improving drastically.

<br/>because it is from a corrupt ex manager from t-mobile who even jumped ship to O2.... How many t-mobile customers love to do that because the could not quite frankly organise a p up in a brewery although they are good at day light robbery and miss selling goods in order to gain commission. They are a shameful company that I would not recommend to my friends but only to people I dont like - would be brilliant revenge.

Was previously with O2 but left due to the dire customer service, T-Mobiles service is far better - although it has to be said that it takes a while to navigate through there menu system and actually speak to someone! (once you know your way through the menu options it becomes far easier. My Nokia 6700 classic developed a fault after having it for a year, I spoke to T-Mobile who advised to take it to my local store - they gave me a replacement phone and I had a brand new 6700 a week later - spot on, the staff are really helpful and dont mind taking a bit of time to help with problems.

Will certainly renew when my contract is up.
