T-Mobile's SOLO plan was a total disaster, as are their records, accounts, and customer service. I had 3 months of SOLO, found I was put onto both versions by mistake and was also being charged for all phone calls as though I was still on their former PAYG plan.
It was chaos, I got conflicting messages about the balance available and had to keep topping up to be able to use my mobile in emergencies. This despite paying for SOLO on Direct Debit. My repeated complaints to Customer Services, at 25p a time, got me false promises that "this time it's been sorted." I left in September, but they are still intercepting my voicemail, telling me how to access it on T-Mobile.
My complaints went to 3 top Directors, but they only offer to write off the last month's bill. Had to write to the top to help them find lost credits. But they say my complaints help them take the company forward!
Would love to know if things have really got any better for you guys out there still with T-Mobile.

Awful! Tied into a very lengthy contract and the phone after just a few weeks wouldn't work - clearly defective. Took it back and it was sent off for repair. After more than two weeks received my phone which had supposedly been repaired only to have the same thing happen again. Have sent it off AGAIN and three weeks later am still waiting. They offer a replacement that is about as good as a paper cup and a piece of string. Meantime I'm being charged for all sorts of features including inter ...- Read Guest's review (123 words)

Being a T-mobile broadband customer has been a very frustrating experience. I have persistent connection problems. Somehow the network causes a '400 bad request' error after several minutes of connection and forces me to re-connect. This becomes extremely annoying when I have to reset the connection around twenty times an hour!
The engineers couldn't find a fault on the network and suggested it could be my computer causing the problem. Well, two friends of mine are on the same network and have t ...- Read Guest's review (122 words)

I have been with O2 and 3G before T-Mobile and I have to say how impressed I am with the service I have received every time I have cause to contact them. I have just upgraded for the second time and was offered a wide choice of handsets which, for once, could actually be described as an upgrade on the model I already have. I was advised on price plans and have ended up on a cheaper tariff which suits my needs better. Very happy with the service.- Read Guest's review (88 words)

Bad customer service
Locked down to lengthy contracts
Waste no value for money
If T-mobile and Orange merge whole new problems will arise for Orange
Offers on T-mobile networks sounds good, but you'll find that paying a little extra to other networks would benefit you longer
T-mobile goes off the boat with silly early contract cancellation fees
Quick to terminate your contract if their not happy with your custom
All the small print should be asked to be read to you before purchase ...- Read Guest's review (83 words)

Signal in DOrset is totally erratic. I have to go outside to find a signal and even if I have 5 bars it can suddenly drop to no signal at all in the same location. It is mystifying, particularly when T-Mobile insist that there is no problem.- Read Guest's review (46 words)

I've been with T mobile for nearly a year and have had nothing but good service. Never really had any problems, but when i called re a problem with my handset they were really helpful and friendly.
Contracts are quite good deals although handset choice is a bit limited, but connection has always been good.
I won't be leaving anytime soon. Would recommend.- Read Guest's review (63 words)

After being with T-Mobile for an 2 year period on contract and pay as you go, i was still fairly happy with the service i was receiving; but chose to move to another network pay as you go to be on the same network as the rest of the family. After a 12 month break i returned to T-Mobile and unfortunately i have not been anywhere near as happy with the service.
Firstly the value for money (in my circumstances anyway on a relatively low value contract) has rapidly decreased :( my allowances seemed ...- Read Guest's review (261 words)

I got t-mobile because it was a good plan. To save money I disconnected my home phone.
I do not get calls, well sometimes I am able to. I get 1, 2 bars tops. I loose calls.
Bottom line I don't get proper service. When I call to see what they can do I get the big run around. When I told, the rude lady, that I may cancel service because the can't fulfill my needs. She then transferred me to the department that does disconnections. They wanted to disconnect me so I would be charged the $200.00 fee ...- Read Guest's review (132 words)

I am now looking to find a suplier with a better signal rating.- Read Guest's review (73 words)

T-Mobile have dreadful customer service for contract customers - avoid. Returned broken handset (microphone not working; sent off for repair; no loan handset available but sales asst readily took the opportunity to sell PAYG!; repair took longer than promised; developed identical problem within weeks; refused replacement and threatened collections agency if cancelled; complaints letter sent - never acknowledged; so I cancelled (why pay monthly for a service you do not get) and have just receive ...- Read Guest's review (87 words)
