“Worst Experience Ever! ”

I am absolutely shocked and appalled by the service I have recently received by T-Mobile! I was charged £100 for a matter that was not my fault! A member of staff from T-Mobile had given me false information about my allowances which made my bill go up to £100 within only 2 days! going to the t mobile store in Hampton VA on Mercury Blvd. is worst than the DMV. Store is hot as all get out. A phone was brought in the store for turn in insurance. and the person behind the counter coveienently told the person that the there wasn't any jump or insurance which i pay dearly for. So she was given a new phone and it was sold to her as a new phone. So I recently switched from Verizon (who regardless of what people say have excellent customer service) to T-Mobile and let me just say that since I've been with them I've had nothing but horrible customer service. It took me 5 tries to switch to T-Mobile. My situation is very simple. I've had a T-Mobile/EE phone for the last 2 years. My contract has just come to an end and because their coverage where I live isn't good I want to switch provider and get my PAC code. Should be pretty straightforward but so far I've been on hold for 75 minutes!!! What a joke. I am using t mobile from last 4.5 years. It a contract for 8.50 months. After last upgrade it stand 10.56 per month. This is the worst company I have had the misfortune to deal with. One call resulted in me being transferred 4 times, repeating myself including providing my security details. “Intentionally Misleading Customer by WIthholding...”

I wasted 1 hour on the phone with T-Mobile as they attempted to trouble shoot my Samsung Galaxy phone to restore lost network connection. “Do not buy their £15 card paygo with promised 10 gig...”

Bought from Ashton-U-Lyne a card with promised 10 gig of data for the next 3 months, (all for £15) had just signed on and a message came up out of data, so went back to the shop and they said there had been a problem and within 24 hours the data would be on there within 48 hours, though could take as little as one hour. “Shocking! T-Mobile stole £347 from my Bank Account”

I decided to take the leap and sign up to EE for my wife's phone (previously on T-Mobile). They transferred the account over from T-Mobile to EE and gave me completely separate billing. I got a bill for £347 for over-usage of Data and unfortunately the payment went out via direct debit before I could stop it. “Shall I renew?”

I've been a customer for over 3 years on a sim only deal. I've always managed to get through to customer service, sometimes a bit of a wait, but they have always resolved any issues. It's inexcusable that the facility to view your bills online has not worked for more than 3 months. I spoke to their cancellation department today and found that they were extremely pleasant and helpful, quite refreshing. advise: Stick to one monthly or pay as you go contract.

Its not common to hear people actually saying that they had a pleasant experience. Wait for the error on there part and then try to resolve it! There system, communication and promises are just a big Fail. Its not about few pounds charged here and there incorrectly its about the incompetencies when you try to resolve them.
My advise would be to stay on pay as you go so you know that you get what you paid for and if some thing from some where charged incorrectly on your account, this will automatically be declined as they can not just charge for it.
I think Retail price index inflation does not effect prices on pay as you go or on one month rolling contracts but as soon as you get a binding with them for a term than all kind of inflation charges and contract fees start to apply, I paid 80 pounds on my last bill just to finish my contract, on the last day of my 2 year contract, as it was few hours before the term finished.

This company is full of hidden charges and very unprofessional customer services. I had numerous issues through out my 2 years of contract. These includes briefly 1- Changing of price plan to higher rate with out any notice or permission  2- No refunds for incorrect amount charged, no matter how many times you ring them or they promise you  3- customer services will promise you some thing and your bill will show some thing else.
