“Disgusting customer service and regular price increases”

I was fairly unimpressed with T-Mobile but they managed to hold onto me as a customer with a fair price plan. Less than a month into my new contract, I received a text telling me my price plan would increase by £1.18/month. I have a galaxy s4 , at first I thought the loss off network coverage was due to faulty sim or phone, having switched sims from other operators I know for sure it's a tmob network issue. I remember from before when I had to upgrade how energy draining it is to have to deal with the customer service of this company. I completely agree.

I have recently just had a child, moved into my own home (rented accommodation) with my partner. Note- I have not been living in my previous home for, say, nearly a year now.

When I was 19 yo, I regrettably entered a T-Mobile contract that was supposed to last for 2 years. I am now 22 and am still being charged. But I didn't know until I had this company, working through T-Mobile demanding money off me.

I then rang T-Mobile to tell 'this woman' the situation, and she went on to say that I still had to pay all the money from the end of that contract until now and said that it was in the 'terms and conditions'. I told her I did not know this as I have not been living at home, I lost my phone 6-7 months ago (which I rang about a while back to cancel the contract, but was told that I couldn't finish the contract and had to pay until the contract finished and we ended the conversation on that note; I assumed that the contract would automatically finish, as it should). She then DARED to say ' it was your fault then' ... ?!!!? I replied with 'how was it my fault if the guy I spoke to didn't say anything?'
She said, 'you would have gotten letters and texts to tell you'.
I said, 'How would I have got them without a phone, and the fact that I don't even live at that address anymore?'
She said 'Well, it's still your fault'

So as you can gather, she is unprofessional and has no clue about good customer service. I am normally quite a calm person and would not have acted out in this kind of situation but her constantly telling me it was my fault caused me to lose my temper!

Bottom line is, don't get into a contract with them. They will go to every extent to squeeze as much money out of you as humanly possible. Not to mention awful, awful customer service; felt like she was trying to tick me off on purpose.

T-Mobile why is there no option for zero stars? You are money-grabbing, deceptive and all that is wrong with sales .I would never recommend you or EE. The stores are over-populated the by brain-challenged, more interested in talking to other staff members than helping customers. If you have had their letter telling you the price of your contract is going up, search the web for the "Ofcom consultation on mobile phone price increases" (if I post a link - this will be removed) they are due to rule if these are unfair terms.

A ruling is expected in June, then put in a complaint/claim under the terms of the ruling. That is what I am planning to do.

Cut off my phone, took my credit (£15+ - not sure what it was) and refused to give it back. This was for a pay as you go phone. I did not know that they'd changed their cut off time for non-use. This is the only phone I have and I need it as an emergency one but rarely use it. Been a T mobile customer since 2004..never been late on a payment.Service and coverage USB 10 thumbs down. Multiple calls and letters to service and the CEO proves to mean nothing.if they have you under contract your screwed. miss your bill and they will disconnect service.They provide terrible service and coverage .Too bad for you. pay the 200.00 termination fee or deal with it.never would recommend this company or service. It is a ripoff company with shocking professional standards around customer service and technical support. Was a customer for abt 2 years. Once the contract ended, I changed the number to another provider. They said they will cancel. But inspite of repeated reminders, they kept charging me for more than 6 months. “Bad network”

Today, the 25th of Feb,the network of T-Mobile has been crashing constantly. Every 2 min, every single website crashes as the connection of T-Mobile simply ends and not Network can be found. Neither 3G or any other network keeps the connection running for more than 2 min, before the whole network is gone again. I literally have to disconnect and re-connect my laptop. I have never written any review or blog before, but after recent events I feel the need to advertise T-Mobile’s incompetence and lack of customer service on as many sites as I can find. I took out a contract with T-Mobile just before Christmas, and transferred my existing Orange number with them via a PAC code. i cancelled my t mobile account to have a new account with ee ( who are the same company !) i realised 3 months later that they were still charging me for the old account and on top of that they had charged me twice in one month and both bills were more than my actual contract amount. “T-Mobile Are The Best Network In The UK!”

I have been with t-mobile for over a year and i am very happy with t-mobile! One of the customer service staff gave me 500 MB of internet for ever and it was not even included in my price plan and he gave to me for free! and also what is good is that if you are searching the web and there is no t-mobile connection it automatically switchs to orange's signal! t-mobile is the best network ever!
