Exactly the same as the previous user . 3 years usage of the Tefal Virtuose Steam - my wife is exeptionally clean and accurate. and one day ... blue flash massive bang which scared her to death ... change fuse 5 times - same effect.

This month, whilst my wife was ironing with the Tefal Virtuose Steam there was a large bang and a blue flash that emerged from the iron. Not knowing the reason for this fault I checked the fuse on the plug which had gone. I replaced the fuse and switched on. When I adjusted the heat switch to low - the same blue flash and bang happened again. Not wanting to take risks with water. We have replaced it with a different make of iron - not what you expect to have to do after 3 years careful use.
