The Taste of India, in my opinion, is one of the best restaurants around. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal with attentive but not ‘pushy’ service. The food is excellent and among the usual favourites (with a twist) new and innovative dishes appear. I particularly like Lamb Vindaloo, the meat is so tender that you can cut it with a fork, accompanied by Tarka Dall and steamed rice. When I lived in Hatfield I regularly ate at The Taste of India. “I don't eat Indian alot but recently moved to the area...”

I don't eat Indian alot but recently moved to the area and was in no mood to cook. Ordered a take away from Taste of India. I was shocked when I tasted the food it was very, very good. From not eating much Indian to having it several times a week. I would defo recomend - only ever had take away from thr so cant comment on the atomosphere etc but if you want to eat good food definatly the place to go. King prawns are lovely, samosa's, parata (bread) spinach and paneer. I could go on! 5stars!!… Read Full Review
