Good Points: Great speed, practicality in top, fantastic sound, and a real stunner to drive, has an old fashioned but classy look and nobody expects anything before you are GONE
Bad Points: Prices on spares and their availability
General comments: A fantastic classic to own and drive with its - by modern standards - non aggregassive looks. nobody expects anything before it is too late - bye bye BMWs and the like. The Volkswagen Golf 1.8 GTI G60 has a great and unique sound and the torque comes excactely where you want it - just after your competitor believes that he has won the duel!

The Volkswagen Golf 1.8 GTI G60 will give most modern cars a run for their money. Economical 28-38 mpg when driven hard or sensibly. Very relaxed engine, G60 supercharger sounds unique and puts the boot in from very low rpm. Puts a smile on your face when you open the garage door ;-)- Read BEH 1970's review (78 words and 1 comment)
