    Good Points: Style


    Bad Points: Kettle is incredibly noisy! Ours has now started to leak, getting rapidly worse so now looking for a new kettle.


    General comments: The noise of the kettle has been wearing us down slowly. Replacing it because it has now begun to leak. We've had it five years and has been a good kettle (noise not withstanding). Time for a new one.

    Philips HD4603 is very quick to boil, had mine 5 years no problems at all.
    i have the black and chrome, it looks good.

    Really excellent kettle, I had mine for 6 years and would like it in red. I confirm I owned this kettle and was very pleased with it.

    I bought this Philips HD4603 kettle with the thought that it being a bit expensive and classic design it probably would last well. The first problem is that while it is heating up it is so noisy you can't be in the same room and hold a telephone conversation. I can live with that with a cordless phone even though it is annoying. Worse is now I have had two kettles replaced because they have started to leak from the waterlevel indicator once the kettle gets a bit of chalk deposit in it (my analys ...
