I think its great as I've not lost any teeth yet :D Got mine 30% off aswell!. To mould the guard place it in just boiled water for 12 seconds. Then take it out and shake it lightly so theres no water in the guard to scold your gums! Place in mouth, around teeth and bite ( while doing this make sure you press your tounge on the roof of your mouth and suck the guard in towards your front teeth) When you think its done (generally when you dont feel like being sick anymore!) place it in cold water for 30 seconds.

Shock Doctor v3.0 is a good diy mouth gum shield. Comfortable to use and good shock absorbtion. Comes with good holder in the shape of the guard. It cannot fit a mouth which has braces in .
