    Good Points: Cleans well
    Quiet
    Quite quick

Bad Points: Rythmical wash action can sound odd.

General comments: The AEG 54750 VI is a very competent machine. Have had one for 3 years with no problems. Never pre wash anything and things come out sparkling every time. This machine has an unusual wash action which can sound a little strange as it has a pulsed wash system (if you put your ear close to the door you hear a whoosh, whoosh, Big Whoosh, whoosh sound) but this seems to produce excellent results. Machine is quite quiet at least compared to many cheaper machines and the rythmical sound it does make is actually a bit reassuring - you can tell it is on. Also the main wash is faster than many Bosch/Neff/Siemens machines at about 1.5 hours (I think the wash rhythm above helps speed things up).

    Can heartily recommend it.

My partner and I bought the AEG 54750 VI and we have to admit we're impressed especially after a bad experience with Bosch! The AEG passed its first challenge with flying colours - I loaded it up with really messy plates, trust me they weren't pleasant, and it got them clean to handwash standards! I was delighted but this feeling was soon topped as my wine glasses came out glistening, they actually looked brand new! I know from bitter experience that it is sometimes necessary to do a 'pre-wash' ...
