They closed my account instantly without even a notice. Also after the account was closed $200.00 disappear from my balance and they didn't even paid the remaining balance. No answer from the support. Stay away ... very suspicious way to calculate the fees. This is after almost 3 years in working with them and more then $120,000 in sales. (read more)

Please stay away from 2CO. They do not respect their own rules. They can close your account immediately without prior notice and will refuse to pay your balance. After contacting, they will tell you "we're sorry", but actually they dont care. Many people was affacted by their "business". Stay away. (read more)

I joined checkout as a seller for my small business to offer card processing online for customers that did not like our other gateways. Last year I had 50+ transactions and 1 customer reversed their credit card on me. Today I have been "removed from 2checout service" because of too many reversals and fraud attempts. STAY AWAY SELLERS!! their support is horrible, communication is poor and they certainly are not international. (read more)

Their checkout process is horrible. I've been unable to purchase from a seller using 2checkout. They reject any card I give it and any paypal account. They provide no useful error messages and don't provide any way to contact them to work things out. Completely useless. (read more)

I have (had) an account with them for 8 years, never had any chargebacks no issues with my account and processed ten of thousands of $ in that time. I am a registered legit US business for over 12 years and not a back alley fraudster. Recently I had TWO chargebacks for €15 each (first ones ever after thousands of transactions) and they advised me not to refund the chargebacks through the 2checkout control panel and let the chargeback system do its work. I recently paid an application fee to 2checkout and although there was no guarantee I would be accepted I was supposed to hear within 48 hours whether I had been or not. I have been trying to set up a merchant account for nearly 2 months with 2Checkout and the experience has been terrible. I have set up several other merchant accounts and the process has taken 3-5 days tops. In this case, 2CO would send me emails requiring information, I would return the information the requested immediately, and then my application would go nowhere. Don't ever ever use 2Checkout, I had the absolute worst experience with them. They simply closed my accounts, no warning or anything. Very poor level of service. I almost didn't join 2checkout just because of the reviews here - I have to say - I'm really glad I gave it a try anyway. I've been using them for a long time and, knock on wood, I haven't ever had a problem. Reviews show that sellers are not happy!! well it sucks equally for buyer as well if not more... There is no buyer protection whatsoever. There is no check on sellers integrity therefore you can never be comfortable doing business with them. Been using 2Checkout for 8 years now, selling downloadable software, hardware and charging our resellers via invoice. Sales so far exceeding $100K. A couple of very minor hiccups along the way but everytime this was solved quickly by talking to their support. No issues with fraud, charge backs etc. Yes, some sellers will have problems but most end up having it because they haven't read 2CO's terms or sell shady goods. (read more)

Our company sells (legitimate) sporting goods from Thailand. We had our PayPal account frozen for 2 weeks (for no valid reason), this pushed us to look for an different payment processing. I used PayPal, Skrill (Moneybookers) and Alertpay and finally 2checkout and I want to say that this guys are The worst gateway I ever use! Don't use this if you are selling e-goods, software or other. Their Fraud review staff will review your order in 1-3 days and finally will refund your money to buyer and this without buyer request. I would not recommend 2Checkout payment processing services to anyone who wants to sell online. Their anti-fraud security system is atrociously weak and the online credit card fraudsters know this. Very tired of dealing with this company. They are easy to take your customers payment, but they have found an excuse to keep those payments for a month now. The point of using 2CO was to avoid problems we were seeing in PayPal. Well, At least Paypal DID payouts. 2CO has not. Every excuse you can think of, and new ones too. The very first transaction with 2Checkout was a horror. We've been with this company for less than a year (we use them for online sales at a site of ours) and they are very expensive. They charge about 5.5% of the transaction and then 55 cents. It's really ridiculous how much they think they deserve of a sale when their service is poor. I used this site to pay for my website a year ago. For no reason at all, it blacklisted my credit card. (I've always had good credit and paid online many years with that same card...the card was good.) Anyway, me, thinking there was a glitch with their site, entered the numbers twice more. I had an account for 3 years with them did 1000s of transactions with them. Then suddenly they closed my account told me my one of my products from the 5000! violated their TOS which it didn't.
I politely was inquiring why it happened and they told me if I continue to ask questions they will keep my money that was on hold with them. It took 5 months before they sent me money after ducting some made up fees plus others.
Funny thing is that still to this day I find literally 1000s of websites...

Now all my hard earned money is gone and now they are telling my clients that i sold illegal stuff while i was just selling hosting i even told them to email all my clients and confirm what i sold to them but they are just a scam and eat up money.

we then intergrated the system with our website and started to take orders.

I would recommend very strongly not use 2co or 2checkout as your online payment processor. They have very ridiculous and stupid system.
1- Your customer places an order and pays through 2co.
2- 2co sends you email confirming the order, passing the payment and asking you to process this order or deliver the service requested by customer.
3- You process that order after 2co confirmation.
4- Your account is charged a processing fee and a percentage of amount is held extra in addition. 2co...

They recently (according to them) started accepting PayPal. I paid for a domain from SiteGround and was forced to use them I clicked on PayPal, paid and the payment went through as normal. This is what they do
I had my ebook store and sold around 95 ebooks. They saw a problem with that a froze my account without a notice. Everything was legal and it was a legal product (recipes ebook).
They asked for a form to be filled for verification and to be faxed.
I emailed them saying I would do it in 2 days, but I just missed it by a day as I was not well and had chest pains.
What does 2 checkout do? closes my account and refunds...

We have had nothing but problems. Mostly 2checkout do not accept orders from our customers - fair enough that they are being careful - but the staff are incredibly rude when you try to get help. The reason is always cited as the customers computer or card problem (according to them about 50% of our customers are fraudsters) but when (as unfortunately frequently happens) the customer then resorts to paying us via Paypal or Moneybookers immediately there is never a problem! We have used 2 Checkout for over 2.5 years.
4 months ago a wire transfer to our account was never received.
We did not get any satisfactory reply from 2CO support. We asked for proof that the wire transfer had actually been processed from their side so we could ask our bank to follow up, but did not receive any proof or confirmation.
Now the management has stopped replying to my queries and I assume our money is lost. From our correspondence I gather that other users are facing similar...

2checkout either do not complete fraud checks or they are incorrect.
Bad fraud checking methods cause orders not to be filled.
Refunds for non-delivery of product are either slow or never happen.
DO NOT use them on your site. DO NOT use them as a purchasing customer.
Their company should be cleaned from the web just as a virus would be on your PC.

At the beginning 2checkout keep money for what they call "Verification". But after two months it was okay. I think the problem is their low rate of reserve money.

<br/>I have calculated, if I sell 1050 dollars worth of goods between the 1st and 15th of the month, they keep only about 55 dollars as reserve money. According to their schedule, they have to send money on 16th of same month. What happens to the company, if a buyer of a 200 dollar item asks for a refund in the next 12 days, while the next 15 days could not get a sale. Many times I have been surprised with this loophole. Last time I was with CCNow, They sent money after a period of 15 days. Moreover, they keep 10% - 25% as reserve money. So 2checkout also have to do something for their own security. I guess in the beginning they delay the payments for about 1 - 2 months. I can not understand why they do not increase the ratio of reserve money. With regards the receipt of accounts, from 2003, I have received payments regularly into my bank account. Many times due to low sales, I thought they would not send the payment, but they have sent each payment.

We have been with 2Checkout for over 1 1/2 years now, having processed over $350,000 from them. I cannot exmphasize on the lax attitude of the management in trying to improve their customer service. I have been with 2checkout for the last two years, and I am surprised to read these. I have had no problems with them. Two times my money (about 1330 dollars and 2300+ dollars) did not reach my account. They responded and asked me if I needed a confirmation from bank that head office of my bank have received the payments. But in a few days my banks branch recovered these amounts from head office.
