Bought our Elddis Hurricane XL for an intro to Caravanning and absolutely love it.
Have done our own re-upholstry, fitted radio and telly in and refitted the shower out (which we didn't use) into a toilet with sink and extra cupboards.
Been looking around to compare it and see if there is anything better and in our view can't find anything to match it. Modern ones seem to lack character and the interiors seem to hang over you. (read more)

We bought our Elddis Hurricane in august last year to intoduce ourselves to caravanning, it is a great van for a starter and ideal for a couple would highly recommend it, although like the other reviewer we are planning to buy a larger van mainly so we can have a dining area. (read more)

We also own a hurrican xl, but a '97 in excellent condition, and are looking to upgrade to a fixed bed. I am reluctant to sell as I feel that we will have to go a long way to r/p this excellent quality starter caravan.

we have had a fab time in our Elddis Hurricane XL, it is a good van and it tows well, but I would like to buy an Elddis in a four birth model, to have more room. It is comfortable and dry no problems with damp. (read more)
