    Good Points: Classics were awesome in every way and laster forever!


    Bad Points: New Sal's are uncomfortable, feel cheap and are not available in the same classic colorways.


    General comments: The classics were great and I skated them to death, loved them!!! But the new In4mation version re-release is terrible. They feel cheap and rather than getting more comfy as you wear them, they get worse. I'm disappointed that Sal would let this much anticipated return go to waste.

    The best shoe for bmx ive ever had. Its comfy and durable, in my opinion the Etnies Sal 23 are perfect

    This shoe changed the face of the shoe industry and modern culture as we know it today. Etnies Sal 23 are awesome shoes. The best ever!

    These Etnies Sal 23 are my all time favourite skate shoes, they are awesome. I love them. They have a great style, they are very durable, you get a lot of grip form your on the deck and they are so comfortable as well. Everything is amazing with these skate shoes.

    Greatest skate shoe ever!! I love the Etnies Sal 23 look awesome. I would definitely recommend these shoes to everyone. They feel so comfortable and look great

    I've had my Etnies Sal 23 for almost 7 months and they have been great. Barely any wear at all the sole of the shoe barely wore out at all in the first 4-5 months. Awesome shoe very durable. I have the ones with the velcro strap at the top because they were real cheap. Mine are red and white and dont look that bad but Etnies makes way better looking shoes. the arto, is amazing and the kingpin Etnies are also really good.

    I bought the Etnies Sal 23 really cheap at a local shop. I had heard that they were amazing shoes but I wanted to see for myself. On the first day of skating just a manual pad and flat grond, I went through a pair of laces. after skating these for quite a long time, the toe cap stiching was still very much intact. I only had a small hole which lead to the rubber stuff underneath. The ollie protector was still functional. The only major downfall is that the soles could have lasted longer.

    The Etnies Sal 23 shoes are awesome. I recommend you get the leather sal 23.5. They lasted a good four months. The sued ones arn't that good but stick with leather and you can't go wrong.

    The Etnies Sal 23 shoes are excellent. The cost is way too high and they aren't that nice looking, but they are a nice plain skate shoe. I would rather have Nike Angus or Es Accel though.

    Etnies Sal 23 skate shoes are real nice but not worth a penny, they don't break in, suede rips after 1 week of skating, and they look ugly after like a month.

    Etnies Sal 23 are great. But I had mine for 3 weeks and the soul ripped and it can't be fixed. They also cut in on your little toe and it hurts, but if it went for the rip I would wear them. It makes me mad that it's cost me $50 for a shoe I used for 3 weeks ....I want my money back

    I've had 2 pairs of Etnies Sal 23 shoes. 1st pair were great, I thought I'd finally found a shoe to replace my all time favourite shoe - the Emerica Marc Johnson 1.
    Unfortunatley, although these shoes look real smart they are real uncomfortable.
    Its NOT because they are flat soled or have no airbags, I prefer shoes with no airbags & are flat because they give great foot to board contact.
    The problem is that the soles dont seem to wear in & feel real thick so you cant feel your board.

    Etnies Sal 23's are awesome! They've lasted me about a year and i have them on as i write this review. They are a bit on the uncomfortable side in terms of the sole cushioning, but you'll get used to that, and they are also dirt cheap in the US at about $55 to $65!
