    Bad Points: handling and a bit rusty


    General comments: Leyland Daf Sherpa 200 Petrol 2.0 cc is a strong build minivan, it is rare, it has character, it is practical. Compact, consumes small, robust, old school.

    I've owned my D reg Sherpa for 7 years and I have covered 150,000 miles in the old girl. Amazingly reliable-only had the diff and water pump pack up. Returns decent mpg and is suprisingly quiet for a van. An excellent load lugger and a great towing vehicle. Struggling on the cosmetic side now. Back doors, all wheelarches, doors and bonnet dissolving very quickly. A great workhorse!
