Good Points: Battery Life Create your own ring tones Price
Bad Points: Screen Resulution Buttons are toy-like in feel
General comments: I have owned the Siemens M55 for about 3months now and it works fine even out of the country. The mobile phones Reception is good, on a few calls, your battery lasts up to 3 days. Am a heavy texter and that does drain the battery to 2days. I like it when someone rings and you can associate a picture instead of a name and thats real cool. The memory capacity is less than 2MB but thats enough really for sounds and pictures. You do have to edit the wav sounds using MS Sound Recorder and save as IMA...for the phone to recognize it and picture edited at 220 x 180 looks good as JPG not JIF.

Having only had this Siemens M55 mobile phone 10 days i havn`t explored every application. however those that i did were quite good. the filing system in particular, once you get used to it! anything you download or receive can be put into a file of your choice with the option of adding more files.
for some bizzar reason my phone would not change the ring tone i wanted when people phoned up. why?
the shape of the phone is very nice but unless you have smurf hands you will find it a complete ni ...

The Screen fractured on my Siemens M55 mobile phone after 2 weeks of "normal" use - in and out of pocket. According to the Siemens explanation of their Warranty this is customer abuse and the screen must therefore be replaced at my expence - another way to increase the profit margin.

This Siemens M55 mobile phone is almost like the s55 with a better display but missing bluetooth and the infra red port. For the price range ths is one of the best phones you can buy, It suports GPRS, and MMS and JAVA so your phone can be customised with cool JAVA games and applications. It supports voice dialling as well. The transmission and reception are excellent with the audio quality being superb. The display is 4096 colors and is passive matrix but is readable even in direct sunlight, thi ...

The Siemens m55 mobile phone really attracts the eye.it's LED light function is real cool and the design and colour of the phone blends in perfectly with the fashion and trendy world today.I would recommend this phone to teenagers as it's cheap and cool!Other than that,i would say this phone is truly a let-down.A great one if not totally.I bought it at over 300 and the price fell the next few days to virtually free!I think Siemens should look into their pricing of its mobile phones. The ringtones ...

The Siemens M55 would've been a great phone but is let down by a particularly poor display. The resolution is so bad that you can actually see the pixels on the screen. Think of it as similar to looking at a picture on a jigsaw puzzle, albeit with these tiny dots. And that certainly retracts from viewing pleasure. Neither is the color depth good enough - the screen just looks dull, even with the backlight on. An otherwise great-looking, feature-packed handset goes to waste because of its really ...

The Siemens M55 is a great mobile phone at a cheap price, designed to be like a scorpion. This phone is stylish and easy to use, the screen looks good and the flashing LED's add that little extra edge of coolness. This is really a phone for teens as it is cheap, stylish, colour, mms, wap e.t.c The price is no reflection of the quality, siemens claim that this is a durable hardworking phone, and it is, hard to scratch with its strong plastic cover. Accesories are not cheap and you don't get much ...
