Purchased Kinman 2 Seater And 3 Seater Manual Reclining Sofa's. That was my first mistake, Harveys really are that bad, The first delivery of the said sofa's resulted in holes in the fabric, screws snapping and washers falling off the under carriage, solid lumps underneath the fabric too, I let Harveys know and they arranged for a Servico Engineer to come out and have a look, he did so, and he also had to unstaple and take apart one of the sofa's covers, for photographic purposes, basically to… Read Full Review

“Would never order anything from this company ”

“Worse furniture shop ever visited”

Have bought two three recliners settees from Louth. We are now changing them (still looking new) as my husband and I are suffering terrible back problems. They were comfy when first sitting on them then the back cushions sunk. Had to sit on a couple of firm cushions to make us comfortable. We also had to deal with a very cheeky rude young lad!. “Absolutely fantastic, took our money for a faulty...”

Absolutely fantastic, took our money for a faulty piece of furniture took twelve weeks to come then the back of the chase fell in b its then a technician came to look ordered a part came back after a few weeks,wrong part have now been waiting 14 weeks and we have a message left on our landline which they deny leaving lol the back has now dropped off and I am going to put some pics on Facebook for some free advertising beware this company needs closing down.YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WARNED KEEP AWAY… Read Full Review

“No stars for quality”

First purchase was leather and faded within 2 years to an unacceptable level - took a guy protesting outside the shop with the media in tow that enabled me to receive a replacement as they originally said that it was out of guarantee. Guess what, now complaining after 1 year about the quality of the replacement sofas, which we paid an additional £500 for and which has sunk on one side making it uncomfortable to sit on. “Delivery Failed 5-6 Times”

I ordered 1 5 seater Arlington Corner sofa and 1 3 seater recliner from Lakeside branch of Harveys. I was promised that Sofas will be delivered on 8th July. On 5th July I was informed they won't deliver it on 8th but it will now be delievered on 25th July. “Delivery Nightmare and unhelpful customer services”

Helpful staff within store. However, delivery was not very good I ordered a range of goods from the store and on receiving the goods, a chair and coffee tabled were damaged, along with a TV unit, basically the majority of my purchase. They have been in no rush whatsoever to send me the replacements and each time I speak to them they come up with a different story of when I will receive the goods. “Worst treatment ever”

“Sagging furniture”

Received furniture late. Sagging within days of purchase. Upholsterer never attended appointment. No contact until a threat of the furniture ombudsman. Eventually they managed to arrange for the upholsterer to come out. Turns out plumping the furniture would never have helped as we should have been given the correct instruction on pulling the fibres apart. Which harveys did not share. “Terrible Service”

We ordered a 3 seater sofa, a 2 seater sofa and a matching foot stool on 30 January from the Macclesfield store. We were advised that delivery would be 15 weeks, if not sooner. I had 2 sofas delivered and 2 of the power packs were missing customer services was rung by the delivery driver and they promised they would be here within 3 days it has now been 9 days and still no sign of them. I placed a telephone order with the Harveys-lakeside on a sofa to be delivered in 13 weeks’ time and paid a deposit. 9 days after the order was placed, the same sofa is now on sale for hundred pounds cheaper. I called the store to ask about price matching or cancel my order, despite quoting my consumer rights and distance selling regulations where I have 14 calendar days from the day after you receive all goods to cancel. Firstly our sofa arrived with a hole in it! Luckily the delivery guy noticed before i did and pointed it out. They sent a technician out who said they would repair it, i'm sorry I paid for a new sofa and not a repaired one! I refused and insisted they replace the back rest cushion part that had the hole in. “Sofas with stains”

It appears all Harvey's supply is faulty furniture that you would expect in an outlet shop. Even my replacement sofa, after 15 weeks of waiting was delivered with stains. The customer service department is a joke. They offered me a 15% refund and a replacement sofa, when this was accepted , they went back on their offer. Horrible company. “delivery not as invoice”

The invoice stated 8 weeks for delivery . It took 12 weeks. Customer services said they could only apologise. If I had taken an agreement to pay over 4 years and took six years I would have a financial penalty to pay and my apology would mean nothing. “Continuous problems and faults still on going ”

Ordered the Holden sofa with 2 media trays, one with ipod dock in September 2015, they tried to deliver the sofa on 2 different days in December, the sofa had a part of the trim in the wrong colour,then in January the ipod section started smoking and started to melt the sofa and the lighting adaptor that Harveys had provided (not apple) whilst our daughter was sat next to it.when we reported this to the branch they offered us a£50 store voucher!!!! Hampshire light oak extending dining table & 6 chairs delivered 23.3.16. the table top was damaged. A replacement was offered and accepted. Replacement due to arrive 12.5.16 except they sent table legs instead of a table top!! A further replacement was due 27.5.16, only to be told two days before delivery date that there had been production difficulties and they were unable to make the delivery.
