“Disgraceful Service and Warranty”

I have come to the conclusion that the extended warranties taken out with this company are a complete and utter waste of money ..... May as well of set fire to my £265.00 ....Anyone buying furniture from this company I would think seriously before getting railroaded into spending money on false promises only to be told when help needed that your furniture isn't covered I will certainly not be buying furniture from them again… Read Full Review

“Lost my sofa”

I ordered a 7 seater corner suite on 23rd of August and was told the order would take 13 weeks. I received a text from them last week to say my sofa would be delivered between 7 and 1pm yesterday (monday 21st). On Saturday, I received a call from someone in their warehouse saying that when they have gone to load my sofa on the lorry, they could not find it although they confirmed that according to their computer system it was definitely received. “Should be ashamed”

We ordered 2 leather sofas, we had to wait 4 weeks after our 1st delivery date, we were told they had gone missing, they couldn't tell us what has happened to them. I phoned up head office I managed to get them to reimburse the delivery charge as we were having to take time off work, after being given so many delivery dates. I won't be recommending Harveys to anyone, they should be really ashamed of themselves to allow this type of thing to happen. we are very happy with the sofas just a shame… Read Full Review

AVOID THEM!!! I had a very bad experience with Harveys ! They way you guys are operating is not even imaginable in a third world country ! I have moved recently to a new property without any sofa! I ordered 2 three seaters leather manual recliner maple sofa from their stock I warehouse on 27 Oct from Enfiekd branch as I could not wait 12 weeks! Sofa delivered today. Great quality & value for money. I brought it online and is so much nicer than i could've imagined. For £399 it's a bargain- it looks so expensive! “very bad quality and poor customer service”

I bought corner leather sofa set, spent a fortune. Very bad quality leather, ribbed all the way through the stitches inside. Did not notice straightaway, when realised called. Sent technician around to repair, but I refused to have faulty item repaired. Agreed to replace, but same item no longer available, so advised to choose something else. “Stay Well Well Clear !!!”

From start I have had issues from my order to the sofa. The sofa arrived and within a month in start of April , the wood inside had completely broken. I though I was lucky enough to purchase the 'extra cover' for damages etc. I have been chasing this bull company for so long so many phone calls but there response time and service is an absolute shambles. Dreadful experience from start to finish - When browsing in store on a quiet day, we were followed about by a nuisance sales assistant who some how talked us into placing a provisional order with them, she pushed ahead and completed the order forms as we were unable to confirm on the spot. “This place is the biggest sham I've ever come across.”

I mean c'mon this place has been apparently closing down for years. Their signs are a lie and to the guy who's dancing outside of this store with a huge sign ... you're a goof. I had to pay for movers to take the couch from Harvey's because there were 2 failed attempts to bring the couch into the apartment. The second time the guy didn't even bother bringing the couch up because the doorway was quote, "impossible" to fit a large couch through. From start to finish our Harvey's experience was First Class! We were updated by text messages on a regular basis as to the status of our order. Delivery was two weeks earlier than expected. Drivers very polite and helpful. They put down dust sheets as it was a wet day, removed all packaging and set sofas in position. Furniture is well made, looks good and excellent value for money. Absolutely horrific service. THREE failed deliveries. Two of which they didn't even bother to get in touch with me to advise there were any issues. Third delivery they finally admitted they had lost my sofa. No accountability or ownership from any of the staff or departments. Constantly fobbed off with lame excuses. I have had the worst service by 3 different people from the customer service team. The store team are very helpful but the customer service team on the other hand, shocking.
I was told today by someone at customer services after calling about my order which has been delayed to January which is 12 weeks overdue from original delivery date that why didn't I tell them the product was delayed when the store told me. Because it is the customers job to that. Hmm. Terrible service.

“Leather chair sinking ”

I bought a leather suite at harveys, have had it over a year now and just noticed the chair is sinking phoned them to let them know, reply was if you want it repaired I need to pay for someone to come and check if it's a manufacturers problem then if it is they will repair how ridiculous is that after a year chair shouldn't be faulty harveys are a joke I wouldn't recommend any one to shop there… Read Full Review

“Never ever shop here”

Ordered settee in January told 12/14 delivery. Finally arrived mid may and all seemed ok. The next day noticed one of the pads on the arm was hanging off, this was just velcroed on but both bits of velcro the same so didn't stick properly. Also on different seat there seemed to be problem with padding on sitting bit. Rang harveys they sent someone out to repair it, he looked said would have to order parts take about 12 weeks again. “Delivery charge/service”

We ordered 2 x new sofas in July with an expected delivery date of end September. We gave strict instructions (as they will not deliver at weekends) that the only day we could accept delivery would be a Friday. Upon checking recently we were informed the date the goods were due into the warehouse was 4th October so no problem there. “YOU'LL LOVE THIS!!!!!!”

Purchased Kinman 2 Seater And 3 Seater Manual Reclining Sofa's. Just to let everybody know that i had another Kinman 3 Seater and 2 Seater Sofa delivered and they both have the same fault whereupon webbed fabric that is over the foam is starting to roll up causing lumps everywhere on the actual seating area! it looks horrible and of course with that comes premature wear also, funny enough you can never get a Manager to speak to as they are either in meetings or on the phone with other customers!!
I have more engineers coming out to access the sofa's, purchase from Harveys at your own peril..I'm going to my Credit Card Company now, i'm done with Harvey's couldn't care less attitude and the REALLY POOR QUALITY sofa's that they sell.

“Worse furniture shop ever visited”

Have bought two three recliners settees from Louth. We are now changing them (still looking new) as my husband and I are suffering terrible back problems. They were comfy when first sitting on them then the back cushions sunk. Had to sit on a couple of firm cushions to make us comfortable. We also had to deal with a very cheeky rude young lad!.
