I've taken my elderly grandma to one of Harvey's stores today. The customer service to begin with was brilliant a lovely gentleman greeted us and told us that if we needed any help or had any questions find him and he'd help which was perfect as there's nothing worse than being pestered while your looking. “Very dissatisfied ”

I regret ordering a leather 3 seater and 2 seater. The 3 seater arrived and no 2 seater! Went back to store only to find that one sales assistant blamed in on another! How can someone order one and not the other. Totally incompetent! Then had to wait over 2 weeks with one sofa, over the easter break with loads of guests coming round. “Online furniture purchase ”

Please avoid this company at all costs, very very poor customer service, you will be on hold indefinitely. I purchased furniture using their online site and it was delivered with parts missing, the missing parts were never delivered as promised hence I cancelled the order and requested a full refund, it has taken two weeks of constant calls and emails to get through to them, absolutely shocking, still waiting for them to collect. Had to give this 1 star as there is no option for a minus figure !! if you want to buy furniture and you want masses of stress, lies and broken promises - go ahead and order from this company. But let me warn you - you will regret it !! I ordered 3 sofas way back in November, 2014 and was told they would take 11 weeks and they would be delivered first week in February, 2015 (acceptable ). “appaling start to finish”

Cambridge store - inept and incorrect sales advice. Customer service calls and emails not responded to. Eventually delivery with parts missing, cannot collect small parts from store as they will not release to us, the customer with id and a receipt. Instead must wait in all day to receive goods!!! We ordered a corner sofa on the 20 January with a delivery time of 6 weeks. We are still waiting! After our purchase I started reading reviews about Harveys which made me really worried so I called up customer service to confirm that there would be no delays, they reassured me there wouldn't be and it would actually arrive a week earlier. “Terrible service from start to finish”

I ordered a couch and armchair 6 months ago, still no sign of it. The Customer Service line is a complete joke, nobody communicates, nobody knows what is going on. I have been ignored, lied to and hung-up on. Visited the store to get a refund and was refused a cash refund (which is how we paid) were told we had to wait 2 weeks for a cheque to be issued. Ordered an Exley chair in March from Middlebrook branch. Paid upfront as is the norm, for delivery within 2 weeks. We were told the chair was self assembly and that the delivery men would take away the packing. We explained the situation to the sale assistant who told us that it was not a problem and we could change the delivery address at a later date. Ordered two sofas (Aspley) in December 2014 with a delivery date of within 10-12 weeks. Sold on old furniture in Week 12 as expected new furniture to be delivered. What a Joke. We had to phone up to find that the delivery was delayed by some 4 weeks, no explanation whatsoever for the delay. “One star is too high a score..Do not buy from this...”

Ordered a new sofa middle of February and was informed it would be ready for delivery with two weeks.. It is now the end of March and still no completed delivery even after numerous calls to the so called customers services, the shop itself and the warehouse from where apparently my sofa is being delivered from. In January placed 2 seperate orders with Harvey's for lounge furniture and dining table and chairs. The lounge furniture was ordered on 3rd January and I was told 7 weeks delivery, after numerous phone calls was given a delivery date for tomorrow 31.03.2015 have just had a phone call cancelling tomorrow's delivery and no idea when it would be delivered. Ordered a corner sofa on 29th December being told 11weeks approx for delivery. Get a phone call week of 9/3 informing us our sofa will be delivered on 30/3 and if that date is ok and a txt on 26/3Telling us it will be delivered on 30/3 so I take time off work , so we get rid of our old sofas like harveys recommend one day before we then get a phone call at 820 on 30/3 to tell us that our sofa will not be bein delivered as there's somthing wrong with it!!!!!
