“Diabolical ”

We purchased Oberon two & three seater recliners, we waited six months for delivery and within months pink pigments started showing on the so called leather,unfortunately I didn't contact them straight away, when I finally contacted them they said someone would contact me,well I'm still waiting. “Over 10 weeks late for sofa”

Our sofas which we ordered end of Feb were due in June.Had a phone call beginning of June to say 3 seater were in and the 2 seater would be in in the next 1 to 2 weeks and would be delivered together,we sold our old sofas and brought 2 deck chairs in from garden thinking it was only going to be another 2 weeks at most.They are now over 10 weeks late and i am so stressed i have cancelled them.We were delivered temporary sofas in week 8 which were disgusting with unknown marks tears and other… Read Full Review

I have had 2 recent deliveries from Harveys, 1 tiny fault with sofa and 1 tiny fault with dining table - contacted customer services who were very apologetic and arranged replacement for both items without any further questions. “Delivery Shambles”

Date suggested by Harveys accepted (a Monday). Old suite cleared Saturday morning. Phone call Saturday afternoon my delivery is cancelled. Why? "Dunno". (two separate departments/individuals). No return phone call as promised. Monday chased, response "Dunno". No return phone call. Chase you round the Store eager to sell, quick to take your money, arrival of goods & Customer Service totally dismal. “Disgustingly Poor Service”

My recently widowed elderly mother ordered a table, chairs, settee and armchair and after numerous phone calls chasing Harveys was finally given a delivery date. The table and chairs arrived but nothing else. One of the chairs was damaged so had to be replaced. Another date was booked in to deliver the settee and armchair. “There is massive quality Issues”

On just waiting for nearly over 3 months for our new Anso two x three seater settee costing me a few Thousand pounds ,We had to call them out to look at the quality issues we found straight away. Paid cash for 3 seater sofa, chair and footstool June 28th. They said it would probably be here by end of July. They were right. It was in warehouse but I was told on July 22 that , yes it was here. And just needed to be scanned into warehouse to process paperwork, so ring back on Friday. Great, so I will get it by the end of July as predicted ? Probably, I was assured. “Waste of money”

I bought a leather suite from them, within 10 months the leather was starting to wear and peel off. We had the assessors out twice to be told it was external contamination. External contamination from what they cannot tell me. The man from customers services firstly said it was my pet, no she doesn't go the sofas it must be hair products then. “Never buy from Harveys!”

Never buy a sofa from Harveys unless you wish to sit on the floor for 15 weeks whilst being given the run around by this company! 15 weeks ago sofas ordered. Waited full 10 weeks and had a call saying it was in, so sold our temporary sofas. Then sofa disappeared??? Constantly told they cant do anything about it. Never apologised. Ordered a sofa and chair on 6 April with a lead time of 6-7 weeks as it was express delivery lol still waiting .... Received a phone call in June stating suite was ready for delivery but delivery date was 3 weeks later delivery date 14 July. I feel your PAIN

I ordered a 3 piece suite on 5th January 2015 from Harveys Fosse Park I was told it would take 3 months when the 3 months was up then I was told there was a mistake on the order. I would have to reorder as my husband loves the chair becaus he is disabled, I trusted them and reordered after waiting a further 3 months I was told my furniture would be delivered in 2 days but nothing turned up I contacted the company and I was told there was a further mistake on the order I would have to to reorder again that was 6 months wasted and I was expected to wait till September this year before the order would arrive I am absolutely disgusted with the company they have made so many mistakes it's untrue they couldn't even calculate the order properly so I've had to demand my money back I would never ever recommend them to anyone. After all this time I have no old furniture and no new furniture to come I have never known a company to expect their customers to wait a total of 9 months for the furniture and I have to wait for my money to be returned to me and start all over again hopefully with a different company in the future that won't make me wait or treat me so bad

My partner and I ordered the large corner group, tan colour, from the Waterlooville (near Portsmouth) branch of Harveys on 17th January 2015. We were told that this would be a 16 week delivery which we said was no problem to us as we were not in a hurry. The delivery date quoted was the first week in May. We then had a telephone message to say that this had been delayed to 25th May which, with no choice, we reluctantly accepted. Went to Harvey's and found the sofas that we wanted ordered them and told it would be ready 6th July great only 6 weeks to wait. It got to the 8th July nothing so I rang the store only to be told to ring customer services they couldn't do anything so I rang them and was told sorry it will be the 23rd July so decided to wait and they said once delivered they would sort out compensation. “Rubbish Customer Service and delivery estimate time”

I will never again buy a single item from Harveys. My suite is 8 weeks late, when I call them I get the response "well 10 weeks was approximate", they tell me they will ring me back then don't then patronise me on my phone when I enquire why. “Inferior quality of the furniture so be careful”

My mother had her house renovated and we bought new furniture for her lounge and dining room. the dining room Hampshire large side board looks really good and my mother was very pleased. However, within a month, the door just came away in her hand. Upon close inspection of the door, it appears that there were only a few pins which were holding the piece of wood upon which the door furniture was fixed. Bought lovely table and 6 chairs from the Torquay store. Really nice friendly people. Also bought a bed and headboard. Bed and headboard delivered no problem. They fitted it all up for us and took rubbish. Table and chairs came and was 2 chairs short. Rang customer services, was told "no ever u thing was delivered". Em, no we're missing to 2 chairs.
