“Would never visit their store again"”

Sofa ordered in August 2015 with a 8/9 week delivery date. Heard nothing from them, unable to get anyone in the store to update us over the phone. Went back to store 11 weeks after order placed to be told there were problems with our order and it would be a couple of weeks longer. Waited another 3 weeks then was told they would ring us as soon as it was ready. 2 weeks later still no update. “Incompitent Company and uninterested once you have paid”

Bought a corner sofa from this Company on the 31st Aug 2015, My experience in the shop, in Edinburgh (Fort Kinnaird) was, as expected, very friendly, staff, all very eager to help, a bit full on as most of them are. We bought a corner sofa with manual recliners at either side cost £1999. We were given a delivery time of 15 weeks, a bit excessive but we accepted this. “Go somewhere else!! Harvey's are terrible!!”

“Think twice about using again”

I originally reviewed this company in November 2015 after having considerable problems getting a table, 4 dining chairs and a sideboard delivered, the original order having been placed in early August 2015. Today everything has been completed to our satisfaction! Patience rewarded! But I would just say that ever since the Media Team got involved things have at least moved along. Polite staff in Birstall branch. Ordered sofa called Kinman. Came in 8 days rather than 8 wks. Brand new. Came on time at 8am. Set it up. Took packaging away. Polite friendly staff. No problems at all..sofa is beautiful. Good experience. I also asked my sister, who ordered a table and chairs from the store in Liverpool, and she said she was pleased with the service she received and the items in her home are lovely. “Avoid”

We order our table in November. They guaranteed Christmas delivery, we arranged a deliver in December, took the day off work, and they didn't even phone when they "forgot to put it in the van". Then we rearranged delivery and then the excuse was "the person who ordered it must have forgotten" Now it's not in stock until March. And if we cancel we get no compensation - which is illegal. They are liable for the second failed delivery if they deliver now or not. They don't answer there phones… Read Full Review

This company seems to employ salesmen who are adept at there contract as in selling furniture but customers service have no concept of there duty towards the paying customers

“Still no sofa”

Having waited the usual 14 weeks for our sofa, we was given a delivery date for Monday the 14th December. After getting rid of our sofa on the Saturday we received a call from Harvey's to say that the warehouse have lost it. To cut a very long story short, after numerous calls from us and the odd call from Harvey's we were told that it may be in QC (this was on the 17th December) but as it was near Christmas they would provide us with a temporary sofa until they found out if ours was in QC… Read Full Review

To start with there is a comment on the front page of their website saying fantastic customer service which is simply a joke. I ordered my furniture on 15/11/15 and was given a delivery date of w/c 27/12/15. However I received a text asking me to get in touch to arrange delivery for the w/c 13/12/15. “Shocking service unreliable and incompetent”

“Lost faith in this company”

Ordered and paid for furniture in August. 2 sofas were delivered in November but badly stained. Entertainment unit has still not been delivered and customer services have told me they will try to find out why!! We were given a delivery date of the 12/12/2015 but only the armchair was to be delivered, even though part of the same range. We received a text confirming this.
