“AWFUL AFTER SALES SERVICE”

Bought a leather 3 piece suite for £1000, and it wore in 2 places. Still under warranty. Contacted customer services who didn't want to know. Very rude and abrupt on the phone. Told me to get an independent assessor [at a cost of £45 to me!]so that they could compile a report for Harveys.The assessor was known to Harveys, so my chances of getting anything done looked pretty slim. We purchased a sofa and cuddle chair through Harvey's and 4 months down the line both had signs of shrinking despite paying the extra for what we thought would be boosters. Complained and had 3 visits from technicians who stated we weren't sitting in them correctly!!? A complete waste of our hard earned money, costing over £1000. We purchased a 3 & 2 seater 'Lincoln' leather recliner sofas - after less than 3.5 years the leather is peeling in a number of places due to poor quality (& the leather is only 1-2mm think, glued to fabric - very cheaply made, expensively sold ???). “Miffed but wiser”

Bought large leather corner suite initally well pleased, but despite tender loving care,leather is peeling off after 3 years . “Good customer service.”

We recently purchased 2 three seater sofa's from Harveys. The ordering in the shop was very time consuming as their computers were down at the time. The sofa's finally arrived after around 3 months. The delivery guys were very helpful and took care when bringing them into the house. Unfortunately the following day we noticed that 1 of the sofa's had a small tare in the leather. We purchased a large 2 seater and 2 seater with scatter backs. Was told all available will delivered with 2_ 3 weeks. We got a call the second week to confirm delivery on the friday. The 3 seater arrived but not 2 seater was told will arrive in 6 weeks. ok fine accidents do happen however the 3 seater arrived with wrong colour cushions. Bought a coffee table from Boucher Road Harvey. Totally mislead by the sales rep. The New Haven coffee table displayed in store which i purchased was 4 inches bigger than the one which i was delivered. “Rubbish only 4 month old couch”

I bought a couch/sofa in the Harvey's sale. I had it 1 month and the arms where your elbows rested sunk with a constant dent. I emailed them and sent pictures in and they sent a company out who said you have to plump up the arms everyday and this fills them out again. We're in exactly the same position as yourself, even down to being told to plump up the armrests. We have no children or grandchildren either, and like yourself neither of us are heavy. The only difference is that our settee is only 8 weeks old, the other one has never been sat on.

bought 3 seater recliner middle cushion lies back, looks auwful but had 2 opinions from harveys . it can be fixed just keep pushing it forward, good FIXED they say until the next time someone sits on it then just push it forward again repeat this every time. problem with delivery to Lancaster on 1st June after waiting 17 weeks, that's 3 weeks overdue. When the two sofas and chair arrived a 2 seater was minus the back? customer service asked me to photo the fault before they could rectify the problem, Can't find it in the warehouse so would have to re-order with another 13 week delivery. We ordered a corner suite from Harveys Furniture store on new years day 2017. We were told it would be 14 weeks which you accept and I paid a deposit. In April we received a call saying the suite was ready for delivery and full payment was required. I paid this and a date was set.
