“Think before you buy from this company ”

We ordered a corner suite from Harveys Furniture store on new years day 2017. We were told it would be 14 weeks which you accept and I paid a deposit. In April we received a call saying the suite was ready for delivery and full payment was required. I paid this and a date was set. About a week later I received a call from Harveys stating the boat had been delayed and they would have to change delivery dates. “a truly awful customer experience”

We ordered furniture in Jan and the salesman told us during the pitch it was 10-12 weeks delivery, then once we had paid we noted the order said 16 weeks ! So they had our money and we needed furniture so approaching the 16 weeks we get a message saying the goods were now in stock and to ring 'urgently' to arrange delivery. “Extremely disappointed with poor performance”

An extremely poor experience. Ordered a set of tables. Arranged delivery in London whereas we live outside which was explained to Harveys. Went to store personally to check on it and on both occasions was reassured that all was in hand. Took a day off and went to London to receive delivery but it never arrived! What a waste of the day. “DON'T SHOP HERE.”

“Very bad service”

I spent a lot of money with Harveys and wish I had gone elsewhere. I was meant to get everything on one delivery but ended up having to take 4 days off work unpaid. It took about 3 months and nearly 4 hours of phone calls to eventually get everything. The first delivery I had damaged furniture and stuff missing. “The Many Failed Attempts”

Long story, but definitely worth the read before buying from Harveys. Ordered a set of Sofas, a three seat, two seat, cuddle chair and footstool with extra cushions and was told everything was sorted and going to be delivered. 7 Weeks later, I receive a text, saying, remove anything in the way, and the old sofas. “Top marks awful service awful furniture”

Ordered furniture Jan 2016 arm 3 seater sofa filled with broken cardboard! Four calls by Home serve trying to repair this. “Avoid Harvey's at all costs”

Ordered new sofas back in December guess what still waiting and now sitting on deck chairs. “Awful customer service and poor quality furniture”

Bought 3 & 2 seater Reid "Embankment" sofas in May 2016. Finally took delivery in July 2016. After 8 months of very light use, the padding in the arms has moved so much that it may as well not be there. Harveys arranged for a Homecall rep to inspect the sofa. He agreed the padding had moved, but strangely Harveys are saying there is no manufacturing defect despite the rep offering to arrange a repair. “Invisible Dining Table and Chairs”

Ordered and paid in full for a Marble Dining table and chairs and two extra chairs for £2000 on 26 December 2016 and was told there was a 12 week wait. Today 18th April 2017 I am still awaiting where they are. We have been told they are held in customer, they don't know where they are and nobody but nobody will give us a straight answer. “Worst store I have ever delt with .. Will never go in...”

I can't explain in a few words how many things went wrong .. I ordered my sofa back in January .. Three failed delivery dates and then at last a date .. My old sofas went on the Thursday . Was worried so I phoned on the wed and thurs to check as the delivery centre people said yes . Be warned yes dosent mean yes with Harvey's ... “Harveys strecthed red leather chair”

I bought a red leather chair fron HarIveys Doncaster. After 10 days i noticed excessive stretching of the leather seat. I notified harveys and after 3 companies coming to see the chair nothing has changed. On the second visit by Servico representive he agreed there was excessive stretching in the leather an proceeded to push 2in thick foam under the cushion the use a heat gun to take out the lines. I've now had two time slots for delivery and twice no sofa has arrived due to "low stock". If they don't have enough stock, surely a call a few days before wouldn't be too much to ask? After waiting 3 months for my sofa, I am now cancelling my order. Inept Customer Services and ongoing delivery problems and I have had enough. OK I can accept that sometime there is an initial error, i.e. they made a mistake on the finance which meant I had to make a further payment before delivery, but once that was done the rest is just incompetent. “Completely lied to us”

We recently bought a sofa on the 3rd February 2017. The days after it arrived I came out in hives all over my body. This continued every day, itching and made me feel awful,till the 23rd march 2017.
