Good Points: Allen talks about his own experience which makes reader feel that he is 'one of us' so that you can relate to him.
Bad Points: Everything he mentiones in the book in regard to smoking (in general that there is no point to smoke really) is something I was and am aware of anyway so I don't get the trick?
General comments: I had high hopes before I started reading the book and was disapointed when I finished it because I still smoke. My friend read the book as well and she quit (hasn't smoked for 2 weeks now), so we met to discuss the main points of the book, just in case I missed something. But it looks like i didnt miss anything. It just didn't help me in any way. However it is worth reading just in case it does help you. Good luck.

I quit smoking 2 months ago! Thanks to 'Allen Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking,' incredible! I'm so happy, I'm a non smoker now! I recommend this book to every smoker!

I am so happy to be a non smoker and the thing is I know that i will never smoke again i have never been able to say this before i am just so happy. Read the Allen Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking book you have nothing to loose you smoke while your reading it so you have nothing to worry about please just read it even if im proved wrong just try it ..

I have recommended this book to every smoker i know, (3 at work have already become non smokers). I know everybody says i couldn't believe a book could help me quit but it does!
I haven't smoked sinced I read the book I haven't even thought about smoking since i read it! And for someone who smoked honestly between 25-30 day i think the man deserves a medal!

This guy was a genius shame he died before seeing the end of nicotine addiction. If you want to quit buy this book you can even smoke whilst reading, don't be afraid of quitting it's easy and painless !

If you are serious about quiting smoking, Please read this book. I was a smoker of 36 years and I was able to stop after reading this book.

First 48 hours were difficult...moody, anxious...felt like recovery from illness more than withdrawl...everyone keeps asking me what kind of nicotine replacement I'm using since I'm doing so well....Champix...the patch..gum..etc...It's a delight to say, " no, no...I am a non-smoker"....yeah!

I am pregnant and have been struggling to quit smoking cold turkey. Since I can't really use NRT, this book was my last attempt, it should have been my first! I finished reading the book and finished my last cig, EVER! I couldn't wait to finish the last page so I could finally stop smoking. I was and am actually excited rather than scared and dreading the first couple weeks of quitting.
I plan on having my husband read the book too!

I have been smoking for 30 years, 20 of which I spent in failed attempts to quit. I could always stop, but never stay stopped. This book allowed me to take the blinders off and to see the nicotine trap layed bare. All smokers believe that smoking does something for them, such as it relaxes them, helps them when they're nervous or bored. Smokers believe smoking helps them deal with stress. This is all an illusion created by nicotine withdrawal.
The pleasure smokers get from smoking is like bangi ...

I had to read the book three times, but in the end it did work. I just wasn't really ready the first two times. Both of my sisters gave up before me using the book, and none of us have had a cigarette since, (8 years for me). It's very important that if it doesn't work the first time try again, If I'd not read the book again I'd still be smoking. My wife also read it which also helped her to understand what an affliction smoking is. I was one of those smokers who, when the alarm went in the morn ...

I was so impressed by this book that I gave about 5 copies away to friends. Apparently it works. The problem was that at the beginning it says 'keep smoking as you read this' so I would get about a third of the way through, panic and then give the book away again...
SO, I went to an actual session. And IT WORKS! Smoke free at last!

After reading this book I know I will never have another cigarette again. I still hang out with friends of mine who still smoke, and I have not even been slightly tempted to have even a drag of a one.
Read Allen Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking book if you want to stop smoking. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain - it really does work!

I had read all the reviews for the Allen Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking book, and I was very cynical as usual. I didn't believe that a book could help at all. I admit I was wrong, but I certainly was. I wasn't even too serious about stopping smoking when I started reading. I think it was just curiosity, but by the end of the book I was dying to just stop smoking. It even became difficult to smoke when I was reading. Then on the last cigarette I felt nothing. This is a wonderful book. It's easy to read and follow, and it can effectively change your life for the better. That is why you probably won't find a single bad review out there. I know when I first stumbled on the book, the fact that it said 'Easy Way' on the front made me sceptical, but I am so glad I chose to buy it. And I can honestly say I would gladly pay a hundred times the price for the book knowing what I know.

Allen Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking is fantastic! I read this book, as have 8 of my close friends. We all quit! I have smoked for nearly 30 years, and now am so anti I can't believe it. I will never smoke again!! I have not given up anything. There was nothing to give up. I am now free. I have also just stopped drinking. I was not an alcoholic, however I spent too many of my weekends with endless headaches. Thanks to Allen Carr he really has changed my life.

I read Allen Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking after reading some others, just over two years ago... I was ready to give up giving up...I had smoked 20 a day for 20 years...
The book had come highly recommended, and I can truly pass on this recommendation. What a great easy book to read!
If you want to give up then read the book! It is as simple as that. It is a very very small price to pay!

After 25 years of smoking I didn't think anything would work, then someone told me about Allen Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking. I stopped smoking as soon as I reached the end of the book, and now 6 months on I am still a non-smoker.

Allen Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking book was the best one I have ever bought. Allen Carr is a genius, he can help anyone quit. It works in that he takes away all the reasons to smoke and makes you happy to be a non-smoker again. It's the best £8.99 I have ever spent. Two of my friends have quit also using the book.
