Good Points: good storylines...some good characters...some funny moments
Bad Points: windasses (enough said)....bit with the oldies in it can get a bit boring *shock! horror! Norris has run out of strawberry bonbons in the kabin!*....err....not really....
General comments: I really like the Coronation Street storyline of maria and Tony but feel it is dragging on....I like it that Michelle is back (rip baby Archie)...Tina would NEVER fall for that creep Gary...Len is a greasy haired idiot (in my opinion) ...new boss Luke, intriguing ..Janice a nurse?? is that storyline going anywhere?....will molly+Tyrone ever come back from the honeymoon, and will Jackie get away with the ticket-stealing? I don't like it how they abandon one storyline and then go on to another and THEN come back to an old one ages later. But overall the show is entertaining and addictive and good to watch. :)

8 December. Have just watched the worst ever ever episode of Coronation Street. Do we really need that vile family in the Street, or should I say Battersby's mark 2 but a hundred times worse.
Screaming from start to finish. Much more suited for Eastenders I think! It was so boring and predictable....please get rid ASAP!
I would like you to know I am a life time fan of Corrie, I hate to miss it but I think I will be fast forwarding from now on!- Read Guest's review (87 words)

This soap has gone from one of the best to one of the worst in my opinion. The Michelle sorry saga has run its course - David is a pain in the neck as usual - his mother is not much better! It has turned into Eastenders all doom and gloom no laughs at all. Not what I call entertainment a pity really as it used to be one of the "not to be missed programmes" we had . Shame on the writers who come up with this drivel.- Read Guest's review (94 words)

I've watched Coronation Street for many years but have come to the point where I switch off some of the episodes. I am 76 although I don't think I am priggish. At one time Coronation Street was a family show but now there are so many unmarried mothers, youngsters love etc when it would be more appropriate to be involved in school. I am fast coming to the conclusion that the Street no longer considers morals to be of importance and in fact I am extremely disappointed that is going from being a fa ...- Read Guest's review (127 words)

Coronation street is considered to be among the legends of television viewing and with the storylines it produces it certainly can be considered to be a great soap, but does it really deserve this status?
Well lets start with the good points. The highly comic scenes produced by this soap are memorable and go down in television history as truly inspirational moments to up and coming directors. The storylines are also excellently written by the production staff, but let's be honest apart from ...- Read Dangerously harsh's review (255 words)

I have watched Coronation Street on and off ever since I can remember. If you miss a few episodes you can soon pick up again. Many of the actors/actresses have been in Corrie for years, making it a little more realistic than some soaps where the actors keep moving on.
Tracey Barlow is a great character, a superbitch you love to hate! Cunning, devious and wickedly clever, that cheeky little grin lets you know she is up to something! Charlie should never have crossed her, she's more than a match ...- Read Helen of Troy's review (259 words and 12 comments)

I have watched Coronation Street for years, but I have to say I don't watch it as often anymore, as the Shelly and Charlie storyline is dragging out. Every time it is on, it's always about Shelly in her room not coming out, and Charlie leaving her every five minutes, and packing his bags. I think Fred should sack her, and then it might be watchable again.- Read katt770's review (77 words)

Coronation Street is great, but at the moment the storyline with Shelley and Charlie is driving me mad,my friends and I discuss Coronation Street and we all think the same,it's about time it came to an end.
The episode where Shelley was supposed to have had plastic surgery was horrendous, the makeup on her eyes was so bad.Charlie would never put up with Shelley in real life, he would of left for better pastures a long time ago.How many of the characters are still actually married?
It would ...- Read susieandsarah's review (167 words)

I have been a fan of Coronation Street for many years. I come from Manchester myself and although "Weatherfield" is not in keeping with most places within the borough of Salford, I still find I can relate to many elements of the show.
One the great things about Coronation Street is the way they introduce new characters - slowly and subtly, unlike some of its counterparts who bring a character into the show and then focus on them solely for two weeks, whilst the viewer has, at this point, litt ...- Read Jasper Brown's review (308 words and 1 comment)

Coronation is great when it combines both drama and humour, however it does have a tendency to drag out the big storylines. An example of this is the present storyline:
For goodness sake, will the powers that be at Corrie please do something about Silly Shelley. No Landlord in his right mind would put up with her as a manager. What Fred should do, (script writers take note), is to inform her that he is bringing in a new manager. A mature no nonsence lady who would soon put Charlie on his backsi ...- Read lyn Thomas's review (132 words)

Coronation Street all in all is my favorite programme because it is funny in places and it is scary at times with murders and shootings also it is sad because of when the dog nearly died and when Tommy died, Katie kept crying and it also makes you want to watch more.- Read best mum's review (87 words)

I usually miss coronation street but make special efforts when a murder plot is on.
