East was soo good on 09/10/09 , i even cried when stancy was getting taken away!!

Stacy and Jean you've just pushed Eastenders top in my estimates. Both your acting tonight (9th Oct 2009) was so brilliant dealing with mental health and depression - such a subject that many find hard to deal with or face. Stacy you took on a new level of acting and Jean... well what can I say the both of you made Eastenders tonight a programme well worth watching. I hope my comments don't offend any who suffer from any of these symptoms as my ex husband had severe depression, so I do understa ...

i think eastenders is a very good soap there is a lot of different roles and different story lines you can never get board of it. i love watching this it is so entertaining and gets you ready and makes you happy. i think is the best soap on the television at this time all of the rest or os boring and just go on and on about the same story lines. but easters does not it has some think different all of the time. some times i think why did he or she have to go of it for but there you go i meen laur ...

To be honest ever since the Danielle and Ronnnie storyline, which I think was the best acting since the whole show started, Eastenders has been going downhill with storylines like heather getting pregnant. They are really running out of ideas for this show.

Eastenders is fast going downhill and I really think the Writers need to start watching it to see what we see.
    1) Stacey is the most miserable depressing, unfriendly, character, wears belths bigger then skirts and high heels at a market stall during WINTER.... Frowns every second and has attitude and does not have an ounce of respect for her elders!
    2) Chelsea cannot act to save her life- she talks as she reads a script and cannot act any emotion to what she is saying and I cannot watch her on ...

Eastenders lives or dies by the families. It is at its best when the stories get to the heart of intense familial relationships eg the Mitchells, or the many strands of the Slater-clan (the hight point of the series in the last decade was undoubtedly the Kat-Zoe storyline and the Mo-Trevor domestic violence period). The series relies upon long-standing established characters and the emotional develpoment of those characters. People who are untroubled and happy rarely make interesting drama ca ...

I used to watch eastenders all the time but after the episode with ronnie and danielle both finding each other at long last i was so disappointed when she died after all that waiting why is it that all the time when something good can come of something it turns sour why couldnt ronnie have run and saved her that would have been a good ending and out of the ordinary.

One funny thing I find on Eastenders is that whenever something happy happens there's always something sad that happens to quickly erase it, and then another sad thing...and another...and another. The problem is that the producers have the misconception that 'darkness sells'-in that they believe that by making the storylines horrifically depressing more people are going to watch it. I guess that this misconception has proved to be correct however, judging by some viewing figures. However, it does ...

i think the episode in Eastenders of danielles death was too final it took months and months of leading up to end with her simply getting run over. it was very disapointing to watch and left me feeling really down

Eastenders has managed to return to the family orientated stories that kept viewers watching throughout the 80's and 90's, however there is one fatal flaw, it is now TOO much like real families, the show now has very little drama and appears to be becoming as boring as most families are in real life, unless the writers can strike a balance between real life and real quality drama I fear Easties is heading for ratings trouble once again.

Eastenders had done well to return to the family orientated show it once was in the 80's and 90's, however despite this, there remains one fatal flaw, the show has very little dramatic impact nowadays, it seems as if the show has become TOO much like real life, with the characters being as boring as most real people are, unless the scriptwriters can find a perfect balance between real life and drama then easties will most probably be heading into rating's trouble sometime soon.

In Eastenders almost every person on the set has a bad attitude this includes Stacey, Denise, Jay, Janine, Nick Cotton and that ridiculous storyline with his daughter Dotty! Phil, Lauren, Ronnie, Archie, Sean, Ian and many more. The new girl Danielle pulls some ridicuolous faces and if you do not wish to feel totally depressed the do not watch this program! Give me Coronation Street anyday at keast everyone has a sense of humour!

I think Eastenders is a great show and i recomend it to every one. some of the best actors are in it. eastenders is a show for people who like over dramatic programs (soaps). Although Eastenders is good soap it can be sometimes a bit unrealistic. Overall, It's a very good show not addvisable for under 12 to be watching it.

I recommend that you watch it but if you don't like things like that then there's no point. So i always watch it on a Sunday and it always makes my day. I would say even if you don't like it then try it out anyway, it might even pull you in!
