Good Points: Superb picture. Lots of inputs. Looks good. Progressive Scan. Sound good for a TV.

Bad Points: Weight. Occassional Digital noise on poor quality broadcasts.

General comments: Had my Panasonic TX36PD30C for about a month now and have to say am very happy with it. The picture quality of course varies depending on what you are watching but with good DVD's the image is superb. Most programmes from sky are good, but you do sometimes see some "digital noise" when the TV tries to fill the whole screen but this is normally down to the broadcast / recording quality of the program, so you can't blame the TV!
Sound is better than I expected, although I do use a full external surround system.
There are loads of inputs which is VERY handy.
I personally think the TV looks great, with a very small frame which reduces the bulk. I have friends with 32" TV's that are bigger due to their's having a huge black / silver cabinet around the screen.
Remote is functional, does everything you need without looking to flash.
Has useful carry handles on the sides of the cabinet, good as the thing is VERY heavy, so get a friend or two to help you unpack it.
Not forgetting the Progressive Scan facility, still rare in the UK, and 100hz+ options.

I have just taken delivery of this Panasonic TX36PD30C Widescreen TV. I have read all the bumf on the net and the mags and I think it is definately worthy of all the praise. I managed to purchase the unit at the much reduced price of £1198 via the net and its worth every penny.
